This is beautiful!

I was so worried this wouldn't show up in the neighborhood chooser because the only other time I tried a custom hood, it never showed, but Acorn Bend was there!!! and absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much. I especially like the smaller plats, Maxis hoods have such huge chunks of real estates and I wanted one where I could crowd the houses all together.

Is there an achievement for getting all the achievements?

This looks awsome, but I haveTS3, any chance you'll be modding this for use in TS3?

I don`t think that TS3 neighborhoods are similar enough to TS2 neighborhoods for that to work, Sniper069.

I love this 'hood! If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use to create your own neighborhoods? I read somewhere I thought that you could use Sim City 4? Thanks.

Sim City 4 is the *only* tool I know of for creating new neighborhood terrain maps. [Sims 2 itself is the only tool I know of for creating new actual neighborhoods.]

If you use Sim City 4, which I have, are there instructions on how to create the maps and then export them to TS2? I've always wanted to make my own map but don't know how.

I *think* that the Wiki has instructions on it somewhere. I do know that you have to use only the *smallest* size "city", and copy the .SC4 file you create, and that the map gets reversed left-to-right [or maybe top-to-bottom; they`re equivalent here], and that details of what gets copied correctly are available [again, on the Wiki], but other than that, I don`t think I can help you much. For example, I have no idea how to generate the four .PNG images that are supposed to go with the .SC4 file. The terrain will work fine without them, but you won`t be able to SEE the terrain in the terrain-file selector if you leave them out.

I adore this hood, but I cannot see to get it to show up in my neighbourhood. I have tried changing file names, but still hasn't worked can you help?

Very interesting hood! I am having trouble finding a place to put beach lots, though. What am I not seeing or doing right?
