Odessa: Both the planets and the replacement terrain are base game, i.e. should be compatible with all EPs. The terrain replaces new/ existing dirt neighborhoods only. Have you:
1. created a dirt neighborhood?
2. installed all the .package files in the correct folder? (usually My Documents/EA Games/ Sims 2/ Downloads)

N8h@wk and MooreSpino: There will definitely be a set of stations/starbases as neighborhood objects. I'm kind of holding off until after I do the Jupiter Station lot. I may do more celestial bodies (moons, asteroids, etc.) but the it'll take me a while to get to them.

Great to hear. I know you mention in your creator blog that you were planning on shuttles and such being in that "package" as well. Any chance they would be animated like the blimp or airplane in the game? Just curious.

That's a tough one. Making a little shuttle in itself wouldn't be too hard. Sadly, I'm a ham-fisted static object mesher. When I try to do things like BHAVs, animations, etc. I usually end up breaking the .package file beyond repair. If it's something simple like inserting a different .obj into the GMDC (but retaining the same anims), I can probably pull it off. If it involves something more complex than that it might not happen.

Love the idea.
Jason, don't you think it'd be great having your ships flying in the neighborhood view? Really hope that you or one of the skilled friends around here will try, how cool it'd be!

I've just came home from holiday and... wow!!! This is so amazing... my simple terrain looks completely different once you put these planets on it, I can't wait to try it in game!!

My terrain replacement needs Nightlife for the dirt terrain to appear, so it's not base game only compatibile.

I would too be grateful for shuttles or decorative flying ships, because an inhabitable ship can't really fly... but I would be grateful for anything you make.
This reminds me of something... Here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=272655 is a mod that replaces cars with medieval vehicles, but there is also an option to hide them completely, which I use for my space neiberhood. Maybe it would be possible to make something similar with shuttles... but I'm just thinking loud, this is by no means a request! I only wanted to share the link with those who don't have it already and don't want cars between planets. :-)

Thank you a million times, Jason, the planets are really wonderfull!!

Simply amazing! Any possibility of making the planets larger? I don't know if there is a size restriction. Once again, these are great for storytellers everywhere.
