Is this a modified "bandit" cat? If so, do you know if the mask just a cutsy fur pattern or is there something actually different about the "bandit" cat? Just wondering since they made it sound like something special. I got the code to unlock it via e-mail yesterday... but the EP won't actually hit my post box until next week.

It uses the bandit mask and similar markings to the bandit cat, but it's not really modified from it. The preorder unlockables like the purple pug, bandit cat, and star dalmatian add two things to your game for each one: a fur color or pattern that you can choose for any animal, and being able to do that animal as a breed. You can unlock purple fur, bandit mask, and star pattern fur all through gameplay, by getting your pet promoted in jobs, or by entering the codes listed here:

That's all of them, btw... So you could easily make your own purple pug, star dalmatian, or bandit cat using those markings and just recreate it... The preorder stuff really is nothing special, especially since it's so easy to make your own, and you have all the same fur options, but without the preorder stuff you won't get bandit cats, purple pugs, or star dalmatians actually showing as -breeds- to make in your game.

haha. Ferrets do claw at everythiing/dig. I know. I had two. So the meowing is the only weird thing. They hiss too.

Larissa - I've got some theories on getting them closer - I have a V2 I'm going to upload of the adult that looks very close and I'm trying to breed a couple of 'em to see if a ferret-kitten, with aging frozen, would be more accurate (and having less play options, might seem more realistic as well).

There's not a lot that can be done to make a perfect tube rat... There's no body length or leg stubbyness slider, nor is there one for tail length. So... Well, it ain't perfect, no, but having had 6 ferrets since I was a little niblet, I'm a BIG fan of them and trying hard to get more accurate ones. That, and I use my imagination.

Hmm... Yeah cute! But you could have always (If you have the right editing programs etc.) Tooken a wormrat cage and edited the wormrat to look like a ferret Heh.. * Blushes* But this one its cute too.

actually my ferrets act like cats, wooby get into everything is super curious, as for houdini...well he looks like your mostly because he lives on treats tail looks right to me the markings is the bigest reason it doesn't look right most sables have a little more white mostly around the eyes.

LOL! I actually did the same thing last night only using a small dog because you have more options for shaping.. (and black eyes.) It really came out extremely good.. If ONLY they had given us an option to shorten the legs! So I didn't keep it. Weezes got short legs. I can't even really do my corgi Sam right.. It doesn't look at all like him without short legs. Great effort! I wish we could get a dook-dooking war-dancing little ferret for the game instead of having to play Island of Dr.Moreau with the sliders.

The dog in the pic I think was just a Maxis collie, but sized down (choose the collie in Create a Pet, then choose small dog and you can get a mini-whatever-big-dog). I may have slightly changed the markings on her, but I don't think I did.

Hello I have an idea to make your ferret look even more like one.
since you have all of the stuff like the color and the ears correct all you
have to do is make a family with the ferret in it and then when you get on
to your lot use the streach skelton cheat on your pet and make it smaller
than it used to be.

Remember its just an idea i havent tried it yet
