O. M. G! What a truly fantastic set! You must have put an enormous amount of work into finishing this... you even put the effort into animating and adding slots to some of the pieces! Amazing job, thankyou so much!!

Just stunning! I know this will become one of my favorite sets. I am also looking forward to recolors!
ETA: I just looked at this in game, and noticed the end table has a shadow problem. There is a black square underneath it (on the floor tile) no matter where I place it. Also, I meant to ask earlier, is that TV FT ready? Does it have movies and enthusiasm?

Thanks, guys!

Canoodle, thanks for letting me know about the shadow. I don't play with shadows in my game, so I didn't notice it. I must have forgotten to turn them on to check before uploading. I'll work on it and post an update.

Also, the TV is base game only, but I could easily make a version that is FT compatible (*infamous last words*). Give me a couple of days to fix these things (hubby's on vacation, so I need to spend a little time with him while I can ;o) ) and I'll see what I can do.

Hey sweetswami - your set is FANTASTIC! Beautiful and looks lovely in-game. There's just a few issues I've noticed:

- The end table, both sets of pillows, the tv, and the funky statue have the black square shadow thing all happening. Still beautiful, but it does look very odd in-game when you have shadows on (which I always do).
- There's a couple little mesh holes near the corners of the front of the cushion on the armchair. There's also a strange sharp seam on the arm too - looks like an issue with normals.
- There seems to be a bit of use of pure black on some items, like the statue thing and part of the fan. Not a hugely big deal but it does make it so any shading/highlighting that the game would add falls into a black hole.
- I only count 27 new meshes, both in the in-game collection and in your polygon list. Am I missing something?

I'm not trying to nitpick you to death here - I'd still use all of the pieces that don't have the strange shadows, regardless of little holes and blackness... I think it's a beautiful set and one of the most realistically casual, lovely ones I've seen. Just figured if you hadn't noticed those things, I'd point them out in case you'd be willing to fix them. If not, no biggie - just figured you should be aware. Thanks for the beautiful set - the work you've put into it is obvious from the quality.

Thanks, everyone!

HP, wow! I really regret not trying everything out with shadows on in my game. I had no idea. I'll definitely take a look at the packages and see what I can do.

As for the armchair, I know about the sharp seam in the arm. That happened when I was using the DirectX Mesh Tool in Milkshape to lower the poly count. I tried making it a little less harsh (you should have seen it before!), but I guess I could try again. I hadn't noticed the holes in the mesh, though, so I'll take a look for those as well.

None of the items are black fill, but some do look fairly dark in the game. I could try to lighten them up a bit and see if that helps. As for the number of meshes, I didn't actually count them before I put them all together. There were 31 in the archive, but it didn't dawn on me until you said something that 4 of them were the diagonals for the curtains. (I had to go back and check.) So, no, they wouldn't show up in the catalog. Woops! I'll make sure to change the title of the post so it's not misleading.

Sorry about all that. And here I thought I'd done everything right... *sigh*

:o)

I have to come back again and thank you for that beautiful WORKING ceiling fan! I have missed this item since Sims 1 and others I've downloaded were not animated. Again congrats on a great set and I'm already snagging recolors! :D
