Please be nice I'm an overstimulated mom. I really want this but I only have experience downloading houses and objects that I can visibly see in the game. How do I know I successfully installed this without waiting for a new want to come up.

Spanish Translation Update
If you play in Spanish, you may want to redownload an LTW_Bundle. The only file that was edited is the Wants.package from the Set1 folder, so you can replace only that one.

If you don't play in Spanish, ignore this update.

@DoubleDash7 Hi! There's probably a mistake in a check tree. You could look at how Maxis made their career LTWs' check trees and do the same.

@lamare, so installed the LTW chooser and had a sim age from child to teen but havent seen anything about being able to choose his lifetime want. I'm sorry this is new for me

@lamare Sooo I got the LTW chooser and figured out how to use the dream catcher, I've tried to install the new LTWs like six times and they don't show up. I know when I pull them up in downloads on the sims2 clean pack installer theyre all highlighted red. Please advise I'm so bummed and I'm feeling so stupid as I can't figure this out

it looks like i got it installed properly. now will these also show up randomly or only by using the LTW chooser? thanks so much im so excited

They should show up randomly, like normal lifetime wants.

I take it Squinge's Easier LTWs is Lifetime Want Requirements Reduced. At least, that's what google gave me. If you have Mansion & Garden, check this out: SillySoraya's edits for lazy sims. If not, you may have to edit the WantTuning package yourself, using this tutorial: https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=669545

Question: ~~I use this mod which changes the hobby of some of the crafting tables. Is it possible to change what hobby the crafting-type LTWs will roll for?~~ I somehow missed the compatibility hack.

Additionally: Does the 'Raise a Wonder Child' have to be their child by family tie? I want to use that LTW for a servo raising his deceased husband's half-alien baby. If needed, I can just cheat him in as a third parent.

Yeah, it does have to be their child. The LTW is triggered when the child graduates, it is when child-parent relation is checked.
(Just so you know that you need to do it by then. You could take it back after.)

BV version for the Mac Super Collection missing old LTW

Hi Lamare! Thank you so much for making this mod available for Mac Super Collection. I have been monitoring it for some time.

I downloaded it as soon as I saw the new update.

Just one question, why did you remove some of the original LTW for this version? For example, my romance sims can't have the "Wohoo with x Sims" Lifetime want anymore, and it bums me out a bit. My romance sims doesn't have a lot of LTW choices (If I stick to their aspiration wishes) maybe only 4 or 5 with this mod. So I have to ask out of curiosity? And can I somehow add the missing wants back?

I did not remove any of the original lifetime wants. How do you know your sims can't have them? You sure it's this mod that causes this? Have you already tried to do anything to troubleshoot?

Just checking here, but it's fine to remove a LTW from WantTuning but still leave the want package installed, right? There are some LTWs here that I don't want my sims rolling, but I want to keep the packages installed so that I can verify if the LTW progress tracker is working, since it references tokens that are defined in those packages.

I just remembered to check in on this awesome mod and wanted to say, THANK YOU!!!! I'm so excited to have these in my game! I definitely had to very carefully check through the mod conflicts section but it was worth it.

Im new to the world of editing mods and tuning packages. I can select a LTW with the selector, but it does not appear in the sim panel once chosen. According to troubleshooting i need to look at the wants tuning package, but im not sure what im supposed to be looking for.

I should probably rephrase that. You need to look at the WantTuning file, if you've edited it or downloaded edited file from someone else. Otherwise, go to the next step - finding a hidden conflicting file. I call it hidden, because HCDU doesn't see it, you'll have to look for it manually. Start with the list of conflicting mods I provide and see if you have any of those. If that doesn't help, do a 50/50 search.

So it looks like some how i have two copies of a file called "Wants", one is 243 mb and the other is 943 mb and 2 wants tuning files called "WantsTuning"9mb and "WantsTuning_MG"11mb are these files all from you? and if so do i need all of the files?

WantTuning_MG from me is 11 KB, and Wants is 239 KB. If you have more than one WantTuning package, only the last one to load will take effect, so you can keep only one. If you like what the other mod does, you can edit my package to include the changes from the other one (that is if you know what it does). Wants packages may actually have different contents and don't necessarily conflict with each other. What to do with them depends on what they are for. My Wants package contains names and descriptions of my lifetime wants and comes in LTWs/Set1 folder, keep it.
