This is sending Goose bumps down my spine..
so many questions...like why is it broken? why would Maxis put this in the game and not finish it? What was the oringinal Idea behind it?

I think I might know the reason it's busted, with this recreation of the event I thought up.
Mortimor: spectaculay, this is a fantastic object. Me and Bella shall be the only sims with a statue made of us.
Maxis Employee: Uhh, umm, (oh sh*t, think you idiot, THINK!)
Mortimor: what is the matter, admiring this fine art work of which you made?
Maxis Employee: Uh, not, uh dude, this ain't gonna make our deadline, so I think it isn't gonna make it into the game.
Mortimor:....................So in Lamen's Terms, We're screwed.
Maxis Employee: Yeeaahh, you're not mad about this, are you?
Mortimor:............Am I mad? Ha ha ha, YOU SON OF A............................

*Sighs deeply* This is so sad and heartbreaking. I would give it to Mortimer but sadly he has passed on due to old age, so it will go to Cassandra so she can remember her parents. Alexander can have one too of course. So sad, Alexander was a mere teenager when his father died and who knows how old he was when his mother disappeared?! Cassandra has a toddler daughter named Isabella (in memory of Bella of course) and she is expecting again so she can tell her children all about their grandparents and how great they were. Alexander's in college still but he's graduating soon. It's sad but thank you for sharing this with us Numenor!

That's so cute, and so cool that you found it. I haven't played Bella/Mortimer/Cassandra in Sims 2, but I played them a lot in the original Sims. I dig that they have the old style look to them. Thanks for finding it and making it available.

Thats kind of neat even though I dont know who they even are mainly because I only play my custom Wario brothers family.

I just finished an object of a similar style that has a person inside a cube rather than a globe. This object has some very unusual visual effects that you probably havent seen before. I cant wait to release it but I want to wait until the sim version of him is completed so I can post both at the same time.

The sim wont be released until somebody helps me import the custom hair mesh I made for him.

You cannot stop the REVOLUTION.

Well Numenor, if Maxis doesn't hire you, they'll have to, at the least, name a street or a neighbourhood in the game after you. Something like.. Numenor Lane or Land of Numenor The Great! :D

First off, let me say that I was very amused reading (in addition to your compliments that are always greatly appreciated ) the backstories that you imagined about this object!
The most hearthbreaking one is Silvercat's: she has given the globe to Cassandra, so to remember her the lost parents! *sigh!*

Wow, very awesome. A great addition to the Goth's house. Next time, can you Re-Mesh it to make it unbroken?

I can try, if only I can find a way to create a "snow" effect inside...

I don't know how the File Maid works. Anyway, this is not different than any other object: extract the package from the zip and put it in the Downloads folder. Or you can use MTS2's Q-Xpress installer

It is a cool object and its neat what you can find thats not in the game, I personally do not use maxis characters or neighborhoods, except strangetown but I don't really use it, I delete the rest of them, but its still a cool object, great find, Way To Go.

I enjoyed these posts.
It would have been so Twilight Zone of maxis to have included this. Can you tell what the animations originally planned for this were all about?
Thankyou for finding it!

Wow, this's amazing...

I start to think the globe can have an interaction similar to the urn for a dead sims...
Buy it back for the sims to make them cry! So, they can relieve some of their daily stresses...
Or, treat it like a flamingo statue... :bandit: Just to have funs for the playful sims...

Whoa, amazing what they've hidden in the game code. Also, when I looked at the topic's title, I knew that this has been discovered by Numenor. I was right! Thank You once again.

now, this is weird. I put it in my game, in the goth house, and on the radio, it started playing Free Bird by Lynnard Skynnard,(I have my own music in my game.) Is this ironic, weird, or creepy?
