Like i said before, this is probably because the camera is tilted to a pitch of 0 Degrees. To fix the problem, hold the middle mouse button (or CTRL+right mouse button is you dont have one) and move the mouse forward. Then zoom in.

A backup of the camera files can be found at "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\UserData\Cameras"

There's a small arrow on the right of "User Tools" at the top. Clicking it will bring a dropdown box with a link to upload content. Clicking this will take you to a wizard with a procedure to uploading your new content.

This doesn't work anymore (properly), after I got a new computer with Vista. It still zooms but it's way out of control. You don't even have to zoom anymore... just move the mouse a bit and suddenly you have a tiny spot of a neighborhood, like you're looking at it from the space. Move the mouse again and you're back in your neighborhood again. Same happens when you rotate the view sideways. All goes wonky. Go figure.

it's probably vista, if your mouse moves properly then it might be the fact that the middle mouse button is stuck in perhaps?

Nope. The button is okay. I checked. I found out that if I change the angle of the view slightly more upwards, it helps a bit. But hey, it's okay. I love this hack too much not to use it. It's probably Vista that's causing the problem but I can live with it. It's not that big of a deal. :D

Secret lots are invisible from hood view, if you are referring to Secret Societies, Hobby Lots or Secret Vacation Lots.

He's right, using this in one of the default vacation neighborhoods does give you the chance to find the location of the hidden lot, but you wont be able to see the lot itself.

Every time I move over a hill or something it zooms way out, it's annoying when trying to go into a lot or even place neighborhood decorations.

I'm glad that I only have BV and not FT or AL. Thanks!

This thing is great. Thanks for the camera mod, that's all I can say, it really should be installed for the game.

the angle is a bit buggy, extremely hilly neighborhoods pose a problem, due to fact that the camera system cannot go through actual terrain, it attempts to correct it
Try tilting the angle up (you can do that with this camera)

Had to throw this one out because it got stuck on extreme zoom out and would not do anything else.
