I haven't Reposted the laptop. im still making sure it works ok. And Motoki is still fixing the final ajustments.
ill post it UK GMT time anything from 9am to 6pm. And it will be Laptops for all :D

you downloaded the Laptop that just has a plain Solid black texture. Not the Fixed one because i havent posted the Fixed on yet

I just sent off the files to Red Storm 13 with the updated map. I made a university compatible version too. I have no idea if the uni version of the laptop works for people who don't have the expansion, but it's probably better to post 2 versions of it. When Red Storm 13 gets a chance to get ahold of the file and update the texture map I'm sure he'll post the update.

It could easily be textured as an alieanware since I put a fairly detailed UV map on the mesh. Only problem is I couldn't figure out how to make the thing recolorable since the original Maxis computer it's based off of is not recolorable (without CEP).

If you download the Latest file that Motoki replied with, put UNI-Works or UNI-Doesn't or TS2-Works or TS2-Doesn't Work. Before your comment depending on what the object did.

TS2-Doesn't Work... I cant understand why it worked when i made it but since Motoki didnt the new texture, it isnt even showing up in my catalog.

is this able to be portable so u can transport it to like community lots and place it on a table and use it. if it isn't is there any way u can mod it to do somethink like that?

doing that would require new animations to do that Jackster, and since we dont have any animation making programs for The Sims 2 then it will just act as a normal PC for now.
