nectere - the only parts that require each other are pillars and the iron lace. you can safely delete all the non-white lace and balcony parts. The roof straight and corner sections go together of course. The door, window, trim (triangular) and the trees are all optional

I live vicariously through my Sims. This is a sad reflection on my life and theirs.

Thank you, these are wonderful... I am currently working on some terrace houses and the lace work is perfect for them. Plus I can see a few houses popping up with bullnosed varandahs.

Thank you so much for these! There are quite a few old houses in New Zealand that have these verandas and the iron roofs are everywhere. I've used your set in a competion (just screenshots - not an uploaded house) and they totally make the whole house.

You are the BEST After d/l this set, I fell in love with it, but had a problem with the corner section. I pm'd you and just as you promised, you help me fix my game ASAP. It was my video resolution that was causing the corner to not show up correctly. Not only is this a wonderful set, but you as a creator live up to your word!

Thank you for you hard work and for sharing it with us. Also for taking time out of RL to help my game play be the best it can be!

This is absolutely stunning. I spent most of my childhood and teen years surrounded by "Federation style housing" in Sydney - so this build collection is a dream come true :lovestruc It looks incredible and I can't wait to use it. Thank you very very muchly!

the terrace houses reminds me of my grandmothers house in erskineville when i was a kid, unfortunately the whole area where her house was has since been demolished and one of those gated communities has sprung up in its place

does anyone know where i can download more australian stuff from? things such as shops i was thinking maybe Myer, David jones, Coles or Woolworths

cheers

I am Aussie too. I've been writing stories for the exchange (sims2) based on Burke and Wills and a few true convict stories turned fictionalised. The federation building stuff was marvelous to use in my new neighbourhood for those sims in the story. You're a very clever bloke, Dazza. If you want to see what I've done with your stuff in my story here's a link. Don't worry, I won't upload the lots, that's fair dink.

Please make that beautiful house available for download! It's a great work and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to build it myself... it's so different from the eastern european houses that I'm used to! Your house is like a dream that I cannot afford to live in my real life. So please...

Thank you!

Default Inverted corners
Hi Daryl
Im in the middle of building a modern federation style house but I've got a problem (well not one really just the shape of my house). I need inverted corners for the verandah peices. Are you able to help? [IMG][/IMG]

They look exactly right for Australian.. I grew up in one of those terraces, and they're really realistic.

Thank you so very much. I have been trying to make some Aussie homes in my neighbourhood for yonks, and always knew they weren't quite right. These are just the ticket.

I really like this set. The only thing is I wish there were more colors of the columns and fencing.

thanks

Wow! SENSATIONAL work . Absolutely love it. Good on ya mate. Ripper!

I dont think I have ever felt so at home in the sims world until now. You have certainly brought the Aussies out of the `woodwork'. I must look for more Aussie cc.

It is great to have some fairdinkum, true-blue Aussie stuff for my game. Eucalyptus trees as well - fantastic!

As voiced by others I would also love to download the buildings in your pictures if it is possible.

I love this set! It's gorgeous, but after having had it for months, years even, the large double hung window has suddenly started replacing my regular double hung window that came with the base game when the original window is put on the diagonal. It may be that Maxis changed a GUID number on the window for IKEA. SimPE shows a GUID conflict with the FK-doublehungwindow-diagonal and something in the objects folder.

Wow, a long time since the last post but just wanted to say thanks. I used a long sloping roof rather than a CFE floor on a recent lot upload because I just had to have that red roof. An oldie but a goodie.
