thanks jase439!

Isn't this teenwoohoo mod supposed to not be used with Nightlife?
I think that wasn't released a version compatible with Nightlife yet.

Yeah. I haven't had a chance to update Jen's mod to NL yet. Nobody with Nightlife should have Woohoo_Teens installed at this time.

Works great in my game.

1 small thing I did notice - when I move a family into a new home free will seems not to kick right in. Once I give them something to do, free will returns, but it doesn't seem to be there when they first move in. I can't say for certain that this hack is doing it, but I noticed the problem right after installing. Granted, it's a minor problem, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks Pinhead. Good work.

Thanks Rustavius.

I suggest you to use the "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" to get an error log.
looks like something is making your sims break the interactions. It's possible that is an error with something in your lot.
Once you use the testingcheatsenabled, if a error pop up, choose "reset" and close the game without save. Go to your My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Logs folder and get the most recent created (by date and hour) ObjectError txt.
you could send it to me (via PM) and i will look it.

I found a little mistake that i made. I really sorry, people.
forgot to enable the movein to children when i was creating a package to
upload here.

no big deal, but i'm sorry for the trouble.
please, redownload the file. thanks

Mike35, now jase439 released a TeenWoohoo version for Nightlife.

you can get it here:
http://www.insimenator.net/viewtopic.php?t=1978

He made it compatible with this mod, so you can use both mods.
But remember, only the Nightlife version of TeenWoohoo is compatible with this mod.

I like to thank jase439 for doing that.

Hi Everybody.

I was playing around and i found a mistake made by maxis. It's not related to this
mod, however you can take advantage of it to correct this problem.
Maxis made a mistake with the Pie Menu of "Use Vamprocillin-D". They enabled to only adults and children(?? childrens can't turn into vampires) and the elders and teens was left.
So, for not upload a new version before the NL patch comes out, i will give instructions
to correct this problem.

*Open the moveinall_EP2.package with SimPE.
*In "Resource Tree" (FileTypes to classical version) select Pie Menu Functions and click on the resource that will apear on the right.
*In Plugin View tab, browse through all data to the final of the list. Start from the bottom to up and look for the line: 0x161
*Select this line. In "Flags" Field, uncheck the box to children and check for elders and teens.
*Hit commit and go to File/Save.

This will make sure that the option to use the vamprocillin-D will be avaliable to elders and teens (of course, if have a potion in their inventory).

I've been looking for this! Especially for teens, I've had a big problem with them, because I couldn't move them into other families. Now this problem is fixed! Thanks, thanks, thanks!

Hi Pinhead

I don't know if its conflicting with merola's pic, but i used the pic to get someone to move in as the option wasn't coming up in the pie. Now ALL my sims memories have disappeared, just left with the red and green boxes-also icons not showing up in the wants or in the interaction queue-things like "get military job" and stuff. Any idea's? i have removed both patches but error is still there-please don't say I might have to re-install-I'll cry!

Thanks

Hi Foxybaby!
calm down. We need to talk about exactly what you did.

I know one thing for sure: The merola's multi-painting is compatible with this mod. How do you used the paiting to move in? or you are using other merola's objects? The painting don't have an option to move in..
Did you already installed the patch for nightlife? I'm installing the patch right now to look into the codes to see if something was changed.

When icons were vanished, generaly is caused by a corruption objects.package , caused by some actions in the game (like save the lot using the remote car - fixed in the patch and the Mrs CrumpleBottom be bited by vampires - isn't fixed yet).
Anyway, to make sure about this, go to your Ea Games/The Sims 2 Nightlife/TsData/Res/Objects/ and see the date of the objects package if was modified in the past few days. Of course that if you already installed the patch will be with an actual date. The installation of the patch should help with missing icons and stuff, since the patch will replace the objects.package.
But remember, i don't know yet exactly what happened to your game.

Other thing, always make a back up of your game if you use mods and hacks. So you can restore your game with a more actual gameplay if something was wrong.

I have a feeling that is something with your objects.package that is causing the missing icons. Not related to this mod.
Anyway, is weird and rare.

Hi Pinhead

Apologies for the delay in my response. It wasn't Merola's painting after all, I think it was Inge's (Sorry Merola), the one with the options for clear all non-residants, and put up for adoption and such like.

I ended up doing a re-install and I got rid of both hacks for now as even after removing both of them, the error was there. Everything hunky-dory after reinstall. I will try your mod again as I like to have that option.

Thanks

P.S, you should remember me by now as the one who ALWAYS over reacts and gets in a flap about almost nothing! :D

No. You can't install this version into University. You need this version:

Thanks, jase439, to point out the file.

Anyway, i wrote a warning in the thread for Uni. It's not compatible with the latest patch. Unfortunately, i can't install the Uni patch to update the Bhavs that was changed by the UNI patch. I don't know if it's different from the NL code.

i will post the link to the Uni and Original thread in the first post.

Hi pinhead,

First, I was just curious, after taking a look at your mod in SimPE, if I just wanted the dialog part for choosing to keep memories or not, without allowing teens or other ages to move in, I can just remove the "Social - Proposition - Move In TEST" BHAV and keep everything else. Right?

The changes you made in "Social - Proposition - Move In TEST" BHAV is the part that lets this option appear for all ages. Right?

If I take this out, then it is just like normal Maxis behaviour, and the option will only show up for Young Adults, Adults, and Elders (At least, I think that is the normal game behaviour, without any hacks). Right?

Basically I want to keep your great pop-up dialog, but not enable teen or child move-in.

Second, I also was wondering if the Pie Menu bug for "Use Vamprocillin-D" was fixed with the NL patch or if we still have to fix it ourselves?

Finally, just a general question about the Move-In interaction, which just shows that I don't play the game a lot. When you move a sim in, instead of marrying, do they keep their last name? I would guess that, since you can now combine households in Uni and NL, you can move sims in without their last name necessarily changing to the household. I guess anyone can answer this question.

Ok, thanks a lot. I was just curious and wanted to make sure I understand what the two different BHAVs and what your changes did. :D

Hi syberspunk!

Yes. You can delete the "move in - test" bhav of my package and will be back to maxis default. You can also delete the Pie Menu Function, since will not be used and this is exactly the big cause of incompatibility with other mods.
About the vamprocillin-D, maxis didn't fixed in the patch. I think they don't know about this. Anyway, i explained how to find correct the problem (some posts back http://www.modthesims2.com/showpost...31&postcount=32 ). It's just to use the pie menu to drink it directly clicking on the sim. If you remove the potion from inventory, the pie menu of the potion itself still works. But, like i said, you have to remove from inventory to drink it with elders and teens. Anyway, i already included the fix in the last version of this mod (after the patch), so will not be required to you change anymore.

Yes. When you move a sim to the house using move in feature the sim will not change the last name.

EDITED:
the site was down, so i'm including some info that i forgot to mention:
If you are using the no-friends version, you can't delete the "movein-test"
BHAV. I changed some info there to make the interaction appear with low
relationship. To disable the child and teen interactions, you can just remove
the flags for them inside Pie Menu Fuctions or delete the Pie Menu Functions.
this is only for the "no-friends" version. The "normal" version you can delete the "move in - test" bhav.
sorry for that.

mickeycollins, this mod don't affect anything in Propose Engagement interaction.

But, to make sure that your problem is caused by this mod, go to your downloads folder and remove moveinall.package.

If you are still not able to propose engagement (without the moveinall.package included in Downloads Folder), is caused by other hack that you have.

If the engagement appear again without the moveinall package in your downloads folder, please let me know and report all hacks that you use to make sure that nothing is affecting the movein package.

thanks

I noticed a problem while using this plug-in. I have both NL and University installed.
when a student becomes a full member of the greek house it's impossible to ask him to move-in. The option don't appear anymore in the pie menu.
When I remove the mod all is normal again.
