This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Some of my popular Lafenetre windows and matching door. All the windows are linked to Maxis Lafenetre Tall Window and use all the colors of that window. They will also pick up any custom recolor you might have. To add more colors you simply need to recolor Maxis original window.

Lafenetre glass door is not linked to Maxis window, it is a stand-alone object, but I provided it with matching recolors. You have my permission to recolor this door if you like.

These files do not require EP or CEP, they will work in any game. I ask you not to upload them at any other site but feel free to link to this thread. You are welcome to use these windows and doors in lots submitted to MTS2 or TSR.

lafenetre_2tile_window - 2-tile rectangular window, 344 polygons, diagonal version included;
lafenetre_glass_door - glass door, 1094 polygons, diagonal version and additional recolors included;
lafenetre_round_window - small round window, 1476 polygons, diagonal version included;
lafenetre_short_window - short window, 984 polygons, diagonal version included;
lafenetre_window_recolors - 3 additional wood recolors, work for all lafenetre windows;

I missed the short Lafenetre window that was so popular in Sims 1 game, so I made one. Then a small round one, then one more, and more... I haven't stopped yet, lol!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

So these are the same ones as are posted on TSR? Just wondering because I already have a bunch of Lafenetre stuff from you that I got from TSR and don't want to overwrite files inside my play game.

These are the same windows as posted at TSR, no need to download them if you already have TSR version. I posted these here to share them for free. Though I cannot do that with all my objects. But my TSR objects do get into a free section there every now and then. Free section is updated about once per week, just keep checking .

Superb. I've been hoping to get the smaller arched window and the single tile arched door since Sims 1. Thank you Windkeeper for sharing your work.

Thank you very much for sharing these. Needless to say, they are beautiful. I wish we could have the entire lot of them, but they are on TSR (lucky devils). Anyway, you deserve a lot of credit for all of your hardwork which you so selflessly share. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for these, especially the round window. I loved that in TS1 and have always wanted a roound window. Any chance of doing it in different colours like the other windows and maybe with stained glass?

Hey Windkeeper, Real nice to see you over here. I have those windows and use them quite often.I'm also no longer a memeber at TSR for personal reasons. I may be back some day, lol. Deeme

Thank you so much. These were some of my favorite windows from TS1 and I've missed having them.

The round window does come in all the colors that you see there, except for stained glass. And the 2-tile window as well.
