Title: Newbie Road 01
Category: Lots & Housing > Residential > Starter Homes

Cost: 19.981
Lot size: 3x2

No expansion packs required.
No custom content.

Description:
Modern starter house for 1-2 Sims, lightly furnished, open design; with fireplace, pool and sundeck. Desert terrain, very sparse landscaping/decoration.

1 x double bedroom
1 x bathroom
1 x kitchen/dining/livingroom

Basic appliances included: lights, expensive toilet/shower, fridge, kitchen sink, trashcan, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has the aforementioned pool/fireplace, as well as a toaster oven. There's enough room to add a carport.

Expandability: It's possible (and quite easy) to add rooms on one side (behind the current bedroom), but it doesn't look too good.

Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, using Clean Installer should help. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.

Enjoy!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
