This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Hi all...

**Updated 21/11/05 - Added Candy Floss Cart & Strength Tester items **

Had a bright idea to do a Carnival/Fair type theme, but then I've got bored halfway thru like I usually do, lol... (I have ADHD I think!), but here's what I did on this theme anyways.... (Note to self - do single items, NOT themes!) :D

The Ferris Wheel is actually animated (with JWood's Cell Animation technique - ) but it DOESN'T work like a "real" ferris wheel as in, Sims can look at it, but can't ride it. Hey, I thought it was a cool idea at the time! You can see how it looks below in my animated gif, tho the one in this pic was my original smaller version - it's still the same now just HEAPS BIGGER than that original one!:-

There is also 4 BIG tents matching the colours on the ferris wheel, they are also (like the ferris wheel), cloned from the vase in base game, so they only physically take up one square, so you can place items inside them (Thanks to Alanyaangel ( ) for the original idea!) - tho this also means sims will walk "through" the walls sometimes as well... but if you don't sweat the small things, then download and enjoy!

I've also included the table/balloon/chair that I quickly recoloured to match sorta, if anyone really wants them.... tho they aren't spectacular by any means.

Have fun, and I would love to see what people do with it! Obviously I just quickly did up a small scene, but I LOVE pictures - so don't be shy to show me!

Thanks also to other great creators whose amazing things you may spot in my quickly done pics -
Coloured Spotlights by jgwhiteus -
Animals by suiryuue -
Recolours by Rythela (I think!) -
Rocks - by Jendea (thank you Timmer) I think that means they're from TSR then, but I will find the proper link after work.
Anything else is mine or maxi's :D

PS. Cos of the way I've done the ferris wheel, it's not really recolourable... I'm too (A) Lazy to read more tutorials and (B) sick of the sight of it to change it at the moment But I AM aware of it and maybe one day I'll be nice enuf to do it so you can change the colours :D

Ferris Wheel - F = 3444 V = 1840
Tents - F = 968 V = 662
Strength Tester - F = 1026 V = 597
Candy Floss Cart - F = 1034 V = 680
Find under Decorative/Sculptures/All - Price $10

Oh.. PPS... *shameless self-promotion ahead* You can also download a popcorn machine I've made that will also go with this theme - just click my avatar for the linkie or go here

** Also, other objects to come - see post 22 for teaser pics **

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

COOL! Now it's starting to look like a fair! We just need some stands with games, a Roller Coaster, and a little Merry go around!

Excellent work Cazkiwi. I'm glad you sustained enough interest to make the wheel and the tents, they're fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

My Disneyland and "County Fair" lots are going to LOVE these! Thank you so much for them!

I was wondering....If you place the tents down then build a wall around it up to just the entrance, then add the glass walls. This will stop the Simmies from walking through(?)

Nice JOB!!!

Wow! Great work, this is definitely very cool. I'm always looking for new ideas for community lots and a fair has long been on my list of things to do. I just have one teensy request... would it be possible to make it so these fabulous objects are visible in Neighborhood view? The lot just looks so freaking cool, it's a bummer to look at it from the neighborhood or adjacent lot and have it appear almost empty. Anyway, absolutely awesome work! Thanks! ~KG :baloons:

Thanks everyone - your thanks made me feel guilty for being lazy and not putting more objects, so I will continue to make a few other thingeys..... I've got a candyfloss cart and str tester in the pipeline! The str tester is cartoonish, but cuteish I guess, but my mapping is slightly off on the cart and it needs to be fixed **edit - fixed and uploaded items - they are now slightly bigger than items pictured tho**

Other items may be coming soon!

Ya I noticed that and was disappointed too... I think it's because they are cloned from Vases - which obviously you can't see from the road normally, haha ... I'll check into it Thanks for your testing
