This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
I always wondered why Nightlife had four hair meshes for adults, but only two that had teen versions. Why didn't they just have a teen version of all of them? Well, I decided to make one of the other two able to work for teens. I edited the "vampire" hair and the adult hair as well so that they would both show up, but also that the adult hair would not change to a different hairstyle when sleeping/swimming/etc.

This comes with three colors: Black, Blonde and Red. Sorry, no Brown for now. I may post it later with this, but I am rather busy right now and the brown hair I did, didn't show up right, so, I didn't upload it.

To Work Without Nightlife: MUST have the black color installed. If I am correct then the adult version as well as the teen version should be able to show up now in a game without the Nightlife Expansion Pack.

As with everything else, do whatever you'd like with this as long as I have credit.

Have Fun!

Update 12/04/05: I added 5 new recolors: The brown color I had left off before, (The Maxis original brown color) and because some of you requested it, four new colors without the crown. These textures are not mine! With her permission, I have added Kindori's textures on my mesh. (the ones from here:

http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=92112) These are some of my favorite hair colors and I was really excited when she said I could use them. Thanks Kindori!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

This is great! Thank you.
I was wondering if possible to make recolors without the crown?

Just what I was thinking! I usually do these kinds of things for myself, but I can't seem to do this one...

Thank you so much! This is what I've been looking for since I got NL - the prettiest hair that came with it (and possibly, that Maxis ever made) for teens too and I thought it was pretty silly that when they changed in their undies etc it suddenly got short!

So, a big thank you! :D

DJ_Mur3, I just wanted to let you know that this hair mesh is just a bit too big for the teen head. It doesn't quite meet the forehead, therefore there is a gap between the hairline of the hair mesh and the sim's forehead. Just constructive critisism.

I thought that the adult one was like that too. Isn't it? Or am I just going crazy?

You're not going crazy
I just looked at this mesh in CAS a couple of hours ago and the maxis one has a little gap too.

O_o Please forgive me, then. I would not have said anything had I realized that. Great job, as I stated in my first post. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this! A little question though: which of the package-files in the newtextures zip is the brown one you made? I'd only like to install that but I can't tell which is which by the file names.

I'm sorry I'm not really sure, just add them all and delete the ones you don;t want from inside the game I guess.

Hopefully the category "hats" also changed...lol I use Hats as a turn-off on a lot of my sims. hehe

Thank you for sharing these!

I love how the hair comes in crownless, but could you make it with the original Maxis textures, not the custom ones? I prefer the Maxis ones, actually. Very good work, also.
