Joy's Contemporary Business Office CAS

Hello!

I'm both new to Mod the Sims 2 and this is the first CAS I've ever created. I obsessed on it today and finished it. The mirror is not visible as for some reason all mirrors show up black in my game (and I have reflections enabled), and so I covered it up. I need testers to ensure it installs properly. If it's liked enough I'll upload a version of it with the mirror visible for those who would like to have it. Any and all feedback would be encouraging!

Many thanks!

It works fine and looks great in my game!! It adds a lot of spice to the boring original CAS screen!

As I have just spent a long time creating a family with this CAS I noticed a few things...
The fountain outside...if that is in the original CAS, I've never noticed, but it makes the scenery really nice in this CAS! Another thing I noticed is that when I take a really long time building a sim, the light by the door turns off for a little while, then turns back on. It's great. You did a great job and I will keep this CAS forever!! Thanks again!!

Nicely done. I got it and I can't wait to make my sims with it. It has that mix of modern and classical looks. I love that style of rooms, so you have done a really good job in my point of view.

Hey FakTz,

Don't worry about it! I only learned how to install a CAS just before I created this CAS--so not even quite a month ago I was in the same boat.

(1) Download the CAS file to any accessible place.
(2) Open Windows Explorer.
(3) Go into My Computer: Local Disk C: Program Files: EA Games: The Sims 2: TSData: Res: Global Lots.
(4) In the above specified folder, you'll find a file called CAS!.package. Cut this file from Global Lots and save it in a SAFE place. (You always want to back up your original content in case the download is corrupted.)
(5) Now go to The Sims 2 Nightlife folder (which is still in that EA Games folder): TSData: Res: Global Lots.
(6) Delete the CAS!.package here (it's okay to do this as the file is the same as the original one you've already backed up).
(7) Go into The Sims 2 University folder now and repeat the same process.
(8) After you've removed the original CAS!.package from all three Global Lots folders, take the new CAS!.package you downloaded here and paste it into each of those Global Lots folders.
(6) Exit Windows Explorer and load The Sims 2.

Hope this works for you! :D

Nice CAS! It's only a pity that you can't see the mirror! But I love it!

Thank you so much; this CAS is very modern and it's the only one I could find in .zip form

Its wonderful! I think it is very creative how you didn't do the mirror... unique, really. I don't think you should add the mirror at all. Your CAS is great without it!
