This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
This entire set was inspired by LunarRyou's screenshot of her beautiful tan and black door.

?? - pots and other japanese items
sunair - the lamps and also some oriental items SimPE and CEP Numenor for his tutorials and contribution to the modding community
Everyone supporting and hosting modthesimss

Originally I just wanted to make a door and wallpaper similar to LunarRyou's screenshot, but it became a little mini project. The maxis recolors are actually standalone clones with their own GUIDs. I am sorry if this is against site policy (I have looked over the forums and did not see any policies regarding cloning maxis objects) and if this is an issue I will post only CEP recolors.

(please unzip to the downloads directory)
This is a custom made tan and black shoji wallpaper that is the basis of this set. I have succesfully made a semi-transparent wall window as well, but the look of it was somehow not as impressive as this on a normal wall so I didn't include it in this set.
This is the door inspired by LunarRyou's door that is also based on the wachowt door model. Since it is based off my tan and black shoji wallpaper, the colors and the wood should be a match. Opacity is set to a semi opaque level so as not to make it look too transparent.
This is a window based off the peace (& something) maxis window. It also has a separate guid like the door
Because I couldn't find the floor rock texture suitable for the look, I created this texture as well.
This is a recolor of the maxis rock wall. I'm personally not crazy about the way this looks with the japanese motif but some may find a use for it.

If there are any issues with these packages please post here.
And Please do not recolor or redistribute these files onto a pay site.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

This set is beautiful but i had problems with it. I'm not sure which file it is but something is conflicting with the original maxis glass slider door. I couldn't use the glass slider or any recolors after installing these i took these files back out and then could use the original glass slider again.

Edited to say....i just realized i downloaded and installed the the other shoji doors you linked to in this thread so the problem could be with those doors. I'll just install your files and see if the glass slider works and will let you know later what happens.

Sorry it took so long to get back but the problem is definitely with this set. The problems are, i can't use the maxis slider door and when i try to use the new shoji door....the doors outer casing is black, the inner casing white and the glass is clear. It looks nothing like these pics when i try to use it. Hopefully there can be a fix for it because the set looks very beautiful and would like very much to have it in game. And thanks for your time.

I'm having the exact same problem as Suni with the original maxis door. Maybe you should post the CEP recolors instead...

Ditto here, same problem. A real pity, but the Wachowt doors are my favorite and I'd rather not have my game crashing every time I click on them.

I am also having the problem with the wachowt door. I wasnt sure if I should delete the soji door or not. I didnt want to possibly lose the maxis door too.

I'm having the same problems as mentioned above by Suni and sushi-girl-27. I think if it's possible, it would be a great idea to just upload the recolors for the regular Maxis door, so there's no conflicting.

Don't download, there is still a problem with the Wachout door and it doesn't allow me to see any other recolors for that door as well. It looks cool but overrides all other recolors of the Wachout door as well as the door itself.
