Forcefield Control Panel - Star Trek Style *UPDATE*

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
I posted a Forcefield in another thread but thought it would be incomplete without a controlpanel and so I made one quick.

This is no big deal, mesh and textures are by me, it is quite low poly and should be recolorable. Based on a sculpture.

You can finetune the placement with the cheat "boolprop snapobjectstogrid false", without it this will be placed in the middle of a wall (or in mid-air if you like... :o)

It has no functions whatsoever, I just created this as a decorative bonus to the forcefield but decided to provide it in it's own thread since you can use this for other purposes, too.

Have fun!

Edit: You don't need any EP for this (as shown by the icon below) and you find it under electronics - misc in the catalog.

UPDATE! I corrected the problem that this wasn't person intersectable. Now Sims will no longer be blocked in narrow corridors.
Please redownload. You have to sell your panels already installed ingame and must rebuy them. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Killer, and just a thought. On your forcefield post, you said you couldnt get them to not stop walking through it. Im just blabbering away here, but do you think if you made it a fence, that it might help? Might, might not, I know as much about this as I do about Nuero-surgery.

Firstly I'd like to say thanks for your efforts in providing a little more Sci-Fi into our Sims 2 worlds, especially a bit of Star Trek.
I am finding a use for quite a few of your creations in my latest project...
an Enterprise themed lot, (that I will eventually load up here - but its taking forever to tweak).

I was using your force field panel as a general all purpose panel that I scattered about the place.
Unfortunately I can't use it everywhere I would like as it blocks travel through the square it is placed in, (which stops it being used in narrow corridors).

Good luck in finding how to make the forcefield work. Then I can stop people escaping from the brig !

Thanks again.

(here's a preview of my Enterprise lot).
