Maxis "Lost & Found" #18: "Ball Obelisk" and "Monolith" decorative topiaries

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

30 NOV 2008: BUGFIX - Now the two topiaries are visible in catalog even without Nightlife (thanks Andynator 11 for reporting).

--------------------------------------------

While browsing the OFB files, in search of a lost tree (that I didn't find ), I've discovered these two fine decorative topiaries, complete in all their parts; they have a recolourable pot, and Maxis provided also 4 different colours for them!

In the screenshot, you can see the "Monolith" on the left, and the "Ball Obelisk" on the right.

Both topiaries can be found in the Buy Mode catalog, in the Decorative/Plants section.

Open for Business is required

I saw that thread over at the Sims Comunnity about the tree. Out of curiousity I had a look through the object packages, I didn't see anything that could be that tree, but I did see those two things. I was going to contact you today.. lol.. somehow I thought you might find them.

Thanks bunches

I think that Maxians follow what great modders and creators are doing in the at large Sims community and are playing a game of hide and seek with them...

Downloaded the topiaries, but get "no Pic" in the space and does not show in game when chosen?

interesting... do you mean you found the objects themselves or just images of them?

Thats interesting Tanja, because those look exactly like the objects that are coming out in the next expansion pack (You know, The Sims 2 Stuff, seen in the insert in the OFB box). I'm guessing Maxis only included the pictures like a little preview.

You must have Open for Business, in order to use these Topiaries; do you have it?

I see from your avatar that you didn't declared your game configuration (i.e. the EPs that you own) in your User Control Panel: if you do, the objects not compatible with your game configuration will not be shown in the Download forum.
