This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

My girlfriend plays a Hogwarts-style dorm and was complaining that there are no stylish computers for that kind of lot.

So I decided to create something more in style with castle walls and robes to make your sorcering Sims happy, be it witch or wizard:

The Xanathonian CrystalSphere Personal Conjurer (PC)

Your studies in Thaumathurgy and Applied Hermetics will be much easier with this device, a must have for every student of the secret arts. Comes with an enchanted parchment, an orichalcum stand and a clairvoyance control mat. Potions not included.

by Xanathon, Master of the Dark Arts and Potions :o)

This was of course cloned from a PC. When in it's inactive state you see only the crystal ball, the parchment and the control mat. If it is activated you get the "normal" computer screens inside the globe. I carried over the mousemotion to the pad and the object will be turned in case of a repair attempt. Has every function a standard PC has and should work with basic Sims and all EPs.

Mesh and textures are by me, the poly- and vertexcounts are lower than in the original PC (310 vertices, 388 polys).

One warning: If you attempt to hack your grades, don't let Snape catch you... :D

Have fun!

What a fantastic idea, and it looks great - I love the details, like the beautiful script on the (keyboard) paper and the atame (former mouse pad). Just what my medieval Sims need for some fun. Thanks so much!

(Now I'm off to pray that one fine day, you'll make plenty of medieval stuff. Love your meshs.)

Awesome! I really wanted a working crystal ball for my Elphaba. The only drawback is the visible flat monitor, but it by no means detracts from the awesomeness of the whole thing. <3

This is hands-down one of the most used objects in my game... my only wish is that it was updated for Bon Voyage...

Thank you so much for making this - I've been looking for something like this for a long time. My medieval simmies can finally have a computer now!

Okay, now this file breaks Freetime. Delete from your game if you have Freetime or play in debug mode.

Bloody brilliant! I'm going to wind up using this in modern homes, too; because it's just that cool.

Yurei fangirl, still looking for good yurei hair. Long, black and in the face, like Sadako from Ringu. (The girl in the well in The Ring)

I don't know what you mean when you say it "breaks Freetime". I have Freetime and AL, and it works fine as far as I can see.

However, it doesn't have the FT options like "Blog about hobby" and "Write Restaurant Guide". Any chance of an update? Pretty please?

Believe it or not, this is still the best pc for medevil or fantasy type scenes. Will you be up dating it for freetime? There seems to be alot of options this one will not do, such as the blogs, competitions and other options that came with FreeTime.
Thanks, Mike.
