This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi everyone:

Here is a new, small door and window set for you. I call this “Le Petit Trianon Collection”. It is made up of a one and two tile window, a two tile glass door and solid door. These are also one story meshes.

Le Petit Trianon is a small pavilion on the grounds of Versailles that Louis XV built for himself as a small getaway. Although small, the architectural details of the pavilion are truly amazing, and I guess this is what inspired me to make this small collection.

The windows and doors CAN be placed on diagonal walls, but you have to download the diagonal meshes too. I have also added a recolor package if you like. The textures and quality are much better in the game than the picture shows.

Please feel free to recolor these if you like, remember that if you do, you only need to recolor the mesh, NOT the diagonal mesh as the diagonal mesh borrows the textures from the original mesh. The mesh may not be uploaded to another website, group, or forum. Please link back to this thread with proper credits.

One tile window = 190 polys
Two tile window = 471 polys
Two tile door = 1,666 polys
Two tile glass door = 1,208 polys

These work fine in my game, but if you have any problems with them, please let me know, and I will do my best to correct them.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Wonderful Simnuts, as always I just love big windows (if I don't have to clean them myself I must add) and these are gorgeous!

These are wonderful, finally something for the midnite ride window to match with. I have a couple mansions that I'm gonna go redo now with this set.

Beautiful! Thank you so much!

(I'll just add that in 1774 Louis XIV gave the Petit Trianon to Marie-Antoinette as a private retreat, where she entertained lavishly... maybe just a bit too lavishly...)

They look really great and they fit with the original Maxis-windows, but I was wondering if they're EP1&2-compatible?

Wow! I'm going to building some great houses with these! Thank you so much :D

Do you by chance take door requests? I want to build this colonial house that my ggggggg grandmother lived in. It has a spiderweb Palladian window over the top of the front entrance, and I just can't find a door for it that would work. I can send a pic (if I can find it :insane Oh, here's a link. I think I have a better, color picture of the door (as long as me mom isn't standing in front of it).

I totally understand if you're too busy/don't want to/hate it when people make requests.

~I no longer play Sims, so I'm not taking requests, sorry~
