This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.
These are not simply recolors of a mailbox, each of these files will actually replace default white mailbox color in the game. You can only install and use one color replacement at a time.
To install copy the file into your Downloads folder. To remove simply delete the file. The package only changes the default color of the mailbox, nothing else. No expansion packs required. All the metal parts are shiny and reflective, except for the one that comes with the aged wood.
I also included matching regular mailbox recolors (wind_mailboxrecolors.zip). Those you can extract all at once into your Downloads and use at any time to change the color of the mailbox. They will not interfere with color replacement files. CEP required.
Do not to upload these files to any other site. You are welcome to use them in lots submitted to MTS2 or TSR. You can also get matching mailbox covers by me at TSR. Those come with a small shelf for sims to place the mail on.
