2x2 lot
Community
Hack Free
Fully furnished (with Maxis Content only)
ALL EP's required

Like many of you, I fell in love with Nengi's "Factory Living" series and was sad that it had to come to an end. I had an empty lot right in the middle of my Factory Living neighborhood, so I decided to attempt a community lot in a similar style. It's the first lot I've uploaded here and it's no where near as good as Nengi's work, but I have her approval to post it anyway.

Ground Floor: Gallery, Restrooms, Patio, Giftshop.
First Floor: Coffee Bar and Art Studio.

Included Custom content:

1 wall covering and 4 floor coverings by Nengi65
12 Maxis painting recolors by me (recolors of 'Oil "Fantasy Scape"' and 'Handle and Spout')
Tornado solid steel fence (black) by HoneyB
Retroville Awning - (in post #11)
JonesiTile by Jonesi
Door and Windows set (mesh and black recolour) by Tolli (find in build/ doors and windows/ page 2)

(I hope this all shows up ok. It's my first time using Clean Installer, but it should all be there)

Content not included that you NEED for this lot to work:

Holy Smoke Stairs recolorable base by Numenor
LAURANA Interior fence by 11dots.com (under "build")

Content pictured but not included:

Rock fountain and Artist Utensils from http://www.4eversimfantasy.net/

Paintings include:

The Starry Night by van Gogh
Wheatfield with Crows by van Gogh
From the Lake No. 1 by Georgia O'Keeffe
The Blue Nude by Picasso
Guernica by Picasso
Les Demoiselles D'Avignon by Picasso
Dancers in Blue by Degas
Jaune, Rouge, Bleu by Kandinsky
Yellow, Red, Blue, 1925 by Kandinsky
Regard Sur le Passe by Kandinsky
Le Moulin Rouge by Henri Toulouse-Loutrec
The Water Lily Pond - Monet

I hope you guys like it. Thanks again to Nengi for the inspiration and for her wonderful "Factory Living" series.

ETA

I just realized that the 5 recolors of "Handle and Spout" are all facing the wrong direction. I've redone them so that they should be facing the right way now. Just download this zip file and copy the package files to your download folder. They should overwrite the old versions and then the paintings will look correct in the game.

Updated Paintings

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Looks like your attempts at a "Factory Living" type art gallery have been going better than mine. Thanks!

Love this art gallery, looks wonderful in game!
Sadly I can't download it as it requires OFB which I don't have; strange though, before I realised this I mananged to install this lot through Clean Installer and got it into my game, it was just when I tried to load the lot is crashed my game

I was going to go ahead and install this even though I'm without OFB because I love it so much but if it crashes someone else's game, it's likely to do the same to me. I'll just have to wait until I can afford OFB then. But doesn't mean I can't download and thank you ahead of time though! :D

I am absolutely in love with this. <3 It's gorgeous, thanks so much! And you've inspired me to hunt down Nengi's lots as well, since I absolutely adore this style of architecture. )

This gallery looks awesome and I just downloaded it. Could you reupload the fixed recolors of 'Handle and Spout'? I never got a chance to download them before the link expired. Thanks.
