This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

I've been longing for a white and cheap kitchen island, and now I have one
- I made it myself! It's white and still wood, and it even looks good dirty ;P

This recolor works for both the counter with drawers and cabinets and the kitchen island, so you only need this file. I only recolored the base part, not the top since there already is a white top in the game, and I'm seriously fed up with bottom parts turning blue when I delete ugly top parts and vice versa.. So, just the bottom part!

I the pics you can see the clean one compared to the dirty one and also with different tops ;P

I agree with you about bottom part turning blue...

Very nice job, I like that it's still wood. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice, I wish Maxis would understand the need for simple base colours of all their objects, this btw is a very good white recolour, white's one of the harder colours to get to look right it seems.

Yeah, white is acctually very hard since the hue/saturation functions and similar color replacement functions i Photoshop does not include white at all, you can make a color into any new color of your choice, except for white and black! Has something to do with black/white being regarded as lightness, which is soo annoying, I'm happy this turned out looking like wood
