New Mesh: Male Fuzzy Long Hair

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
I found the original mesh, made by Maxis, in the sims03.package, and it wasn't used at all, so technically this is a hidden mesh, made..un-hidden, but not exactly, because I edited it a lot.

It was originally for adult males, and had no textures at all and a strange UV Map..only about a fourth of the whole thing was covered. I changed it and made it as close as I could to the UNI Long Simple Male hair, so that I could use those textures for it, since it didn't have any.

Also, I deleted part of the mesh, which did not change it's shape at all, but made the entire hair uneditable with an alpha, and I wanted it to be editable, so I edited the alpha and duplicated it, made it smaller, and switched the vertex order, so it wouldn't be see-through underneath.

lol You don't have to understand what that means..it's just for meshing purposes..basically all I did was edit the mesh so that it can be recolored and redone a whole heck of a lot easier.

I made this for all ages, and used the four main colors. I did not put it in the correct bins, and did not do my other, extra colors it's not too ahrd to do those, all you have to do is mix the main ones, lol.

Recolor or edit all you want, don't redistribute my meshes, and give credit where it's needed. Yes, this means my name...not just a link. I hate it when people do that, it makes me feel as if they don't care enough to listen to a simple request from a creator who worked hard blah blah blah you know what I mean. :D

Enjoy!

I've seen that think in SimPE so many times but never once realized it was a hidden mesh. It looks so great! I love long hairstyles for males

how many more hidden hair meshes are there? APparently people told me that there was a huge look through packages and the only ones ever found were those ofb ones.. now all the sudden tons of new ones are popping up. Are there more?

Take a look at a new sims2 chat site ran by Tease. There are mods and we are working to get teh site off of its feet. You can look around and if you feel like joining that would be great for the site. Thanks

I found a few things but they aren't exactly the ones you can just put together..like this one. I had to edit this one a lot to get it into the way where it could be used. Some don't have textures, one doesn't have a mesh..and then there are things that just dont work.. They don't seem to fit anywhere. I'm goin got look a bit more, lol..but this plus simsbabys new things are some of the last things I've seen.

Very nice job! Impressive editing, I didn't quite understand what you were talking about, but it sounds hard!
Hmmm, this would probably make a very nice female hair...

Finally, with some of the great downloads here, the male sims in my 70's neighborhood actually have a chance to look, well, like they're IN the 70's! Thank you so much!

True. When I put this in the color bins I also edited it so that females can use it. You don't see any gaps.

I'm just wondering here, how cab we be sure Maxis won't release these allegedly "hidden" or "lost" hairstyles, items, Build features, etc. with each progressive Stuff packs or Expansion packs? Maybe these basic meshes we see were put there to make it easier as a template for Maxis to add textures later on?
