This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
The result of tooling around in Photoshop for a couple of hours: very deep purple skintone with glowy blue patterns on the back, chest, and face. Works with all ages and genders, though baby and toddler are missing the back/front patterning.

It won't work in mine either and I have all expansion packs. It's a great concept though

I hope this works - it's really pretty.

I can finally have a non-green alien race! Yeah!

This skin looks like it was inspired by the Sci-Fi channel.

Was it?

It dosen't work for me. Did you make this with an expansion pack added to your game?

Wow this is just awesome. I always appreciate unique custom content even if I am not sure what I will use it for at first. Plus I love the combination of purple and blue, its one of my favs.

"Attention! The creator of this download has not logged into MTS2 for some time. The items displayed here can thus be considered unsupported and you should use them at your own risk." *sniff* Shame, since they made such a cool looking skin and people want answers. I wonder if somebody would make something similar....

I checked their profile, they don't have any expansion packs. I'm guessing it's not compatible with any of the EPs. Has anyone tested the skin without them?
