This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

Update: The purple recolour has been redone to better match the open blinds recolour

I've added the file here, it's named the same as the original purple recolour so you can just overwrite the file.

I'm starting to learn how to recolour objects and here is my first attempt at this - I thought they turned out rather well. Thanks to mts2 for the great recolouring guides

They are a recolour of the 'Curtain 1' curtains/blinds found with this xmsims bedroom set:

I really liked them but I didn't like being limited to only blue, so I did a pink/rose shade recolour as well as a purple/lilac shade recolour.

The picture has the original (blue) set on the left, followed by my two recolours. It can be found under Decorative > Curtains. I have tested them in my game and have found no issues. Please let me know if you have any trouble with them.

The zip file contains both recolours.

edit: I've done a few more recolours since sending this in for approval. I've added a picture and zip file containing them (three more). They are brown, white and black.

Did you do the recolors of the half-opened ones too?

Thanks for these. It was such a shame just to have them in blue.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone - I'm glad you're enjoying them

I have done recolours of the open blinds in the same colours as I did for this ones. I've submitted them for approval. I did run into a snag with the purple blind while I was doing it, so I had to touch up the one from this set to match them.

I put the updated purple curtain 1 in the new zip file for the open blinds recolours, with the same name. So you can just overwrite it I'll add it to my original post here as well.

Feel free to request any other colours you'd like to see, I'm happy to try my best

These are wonderful! Thank you for sharing.

Would you be willing make a pale yellow (like for a babies room) and a sage green? If not that fine, just thought I'd ask!

Sure - is this shade okay for a sage green, or did you have something different in mind?
