This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Here is a Langstroth/Hoffman bee hive for your farm. Okay it's a rather fancy bee hive.

Original maxis item, recolored by me using Wizards of SimPE.

mesh: Country Comfort Corner Table
blue hive with flush handles all around
blue front just hive entrance and handle
blue front with hive entrance and dark bees
blue front with hive entrance and light bees

mesh: Tip Top Tulips
white clover
yellow clover
red/pink clover

mesh: papaver's poppies
originally a test for clover, I like the flowers that came up -- I'm calling them "scrub magnolia"

Side view of hive shows the handles with real hive inset.

Thanks to the moderators for rejecting the first post of this due to the pictures. I was able to go back, add the clover and the "bee doors."

Don't forget to say "thank you" to Sims2 creators and recolorers (is that a word?)

Thanks, for all your posts and thanks. I often don't have time to respond, but they make my day and warm my heart.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Thank you for this. I had a beekeeper's set that I got from Killer Sims for Sims 1 and wanted something like it for TS2 ever since TS2 came out. So I'm very glad you made this!

Looks good! Thank-you...

(P.S. a wood recolor of the bee boxes would be great too, if anybody was so moved.)

Your honeymaking kit looks great. My brother is a honey hobbyiest.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

Like Netseeker, I have missed the beekeeping from Sims 1 (though NOT the bear!) ever since I started Sims 2! This is great! (Can only hope the next expansion has canning, etc.!)
