This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD ATAVERA'S CUSTOM INSTRUMENT HACK FOR THE PIANO TO WORK PROPERLY. DOWNLOAD IT HERE

The following things are included in Version 2 Of The Classical Piano

1. You can now perform on the instrument!

2. The problem of the visible black squares some of you may have experienced is no longer there

Note: If you downloaded WorshipForever's recolor of white for the old version, then that recolor WILL NOT work for this. So at the moment version 2 has no functional recolor. RECOLORS are allowed.

This was the problem my friend Rascal experienced with his piano and it is no longer a problem:

Now you can perform on the piano thanks to Atavera!

This should now work with no EP but if you dont own University, tell me if it works. This MAY require University EP

If you own the older version, DELETE it and download this one, unless of course you downloaded the mesh in the comments I left from the older version and have WorshipForever's white recolor.

Remember that you must download Atavera's custom instrument hackv4 for this to work properly.

Awesome, I just posted the compatible recolor; it should be up tomorrow. Thanks for fixing this! ..even though my sims can't perform anyway - I don't have Uni :p

it does have the same texture map so now you just have to import your old texture

oh and by the way, worshipforever, on your white recolor you forgot to color one of the parts of the piano white. You left it black. you may want to fix that

Oh? What part was that? I know that the rim around the top is black, and the inside, but I couldnt' get those white w/o making the keys show up white. Maybe if you could e-mail me your untextured UV map I could find it better?

BTW, i finally get your avatar lol. First comes the start of milkshape, then comes making the table, then UV Mapping, and then the texture lol. Ok well i guess those parts are alright; I am sorry that i probably mixed the rim and bottom with the keys. To get a new untexture UV map, just clone the piano, export the mesh and load it in UV Mapper Classic.

Mmm...

Is it possible to make it more like a grand piano? Instead of a shortened... piano?

A concert grand piano with the ability to perform would be really nice... In real life, that would be almost nine feet.

But it's a wonderful object =D. Thanks!

Fantastic Work!

In short I just simply love this piano! It reminds me of the Grand piano you could buy in Sims 1. I just hope a recolor in white is on the way.

I really wanna download this piano, since I've got a sim who loves to play, but... does it work for only the base game? I'm hoping it does, since I don't really like the original piano. I'm wondering, did anybody test it with only the base game?
