This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
With the help of JWoods Wings 3D object Creation Tutorial, I thought I would make something simple. These are Security Bars for windows. They are cloned from the Maxis Tieback curtains. They can in three sizes; short, long, doublewide. This is my first object creation and I kept it simple. Hope you enjoy.

Mesh made with Wings 3D, UVMapper, and SimPE Feel free to recolor but post link back to here.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:
  • Origin (Ultimate Collection): Users\(Current User Account)\Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection\Downloads\

When I first placed them on my lot they were black, but since I went back to the saved lot they are blue - what can I do to get them black again?

edit: doesn't matter anymore
