Hey guys, sorry this one took so long, coming up with properly military Chance Cards was harder than I thought it would be. The career is finished, with all Chance Cards done, but I want it in testing, because, once again, just because it works on my computer does not mean that it will work on anyone else's. :P

Level 1 – Middy
Level 2 – Lieutenant Junior Grade
Level 3 – Lieutenant
Level 4 – Lt. Commander
Level 5 – Commander
Level 6 – Captain
Level 7 – Commodore
Level 8 – Junior Admiral
Level 9 – Senior Admiral
Level 10 – Secretary of the Navy

Once again, I have made it generic, so you can use it in any Science Fiction game setting you like, though I admit to some Honor Harrington in-jokes. I still haven't been able to work out the whole custom uniform thing yet, mostly because all the tutorials seem designed for older versions of SimPE, so I am a little lost. Sigh. I will keep at it though.

This career is based off of the Military career, the reward is the same and the uniforms are Maxis originals, reassigned to make more sense for this career. There is no custom icon, since I still don't know how to do that yet, either.

Thank you for testing this for me.

Edit - After MUCH aggravation I have coerced SimPE into giving me a unique GUID for this #$##&# ...ahem...lovely career. It should no longer overwrite the Military career.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Good idea but unfortunately, it replaces the military career. Have Superfly take a look at this. He's really great with careers. I'm looking forward to using this in my space based neighborhood!

Darn, I was afraid of that. I have been trying to get a different Guid for it, but for some reason my SimPE will not jump through that hoop for me. I will try to port it over to something and re-build it. Sigh.

Edit - Okay I have fixed the problem. Go forth and conquer!

I know that I once stated that I would redo these careers, but since then my computer has had catastrophic failure and I can't seem to work through SimPE these days. Anyone who wants to play around with these is welcome to, since I won't be able to anymore. Sorry.

I was trying to make it generic to any Naval theme in a SF universe. However, that was long ago, before I gave up on Sims 2. :P
