Could you please explain to me what is the advantages of this hack? I just bought my first Happy Holidays Stuff pack and can't think of a benefit to hide it. I haven't installed it as of yet as I just received it in the mail today. Please don't think I am putting your hack down because I am not. I just want to know if there something wrong with this pack I should know about it before installing.

All that hiding them does is make it so that you don't have to scroll through them if you don't use them and prevents townies from dressing in them.

I am simply a mass hallucination that a majority of the population chooses to believe in.

Thank you very much for responding I was waiting to hear from someone before installing. Think I will install the pack tonight and see first if this is something that presents a problem to me, before adding the hack.
Since, I had never seeing the pack before that is.

Why would you want to hide it all? Then there's no freaking point of the whole pack. It's just like Holiday Edition without the costumes

Thank you for updating, I hate having to scroll though christmas stuff . When i only use them 1 or 2 months a year

I could see the advantage of hiding all that stuff after the holidays are over. I have the old 2005 Edition pack + the new HHS Minipack (oh yeah, 20 items = 100MB?) from the EA Link. I'll give this a try w/ those.

Makai: as valasia said. And, more importantly for me, it prevents new townies or dormies from using these clothes.
I don't want townies walking around dressed as Santa...

I normally make my own townies, run in debugging mode and use the Shift-N cheat in CAS, so this is a very welcome hack for me. :D

Jordi - THANK YOU so much -- I've used all your hiding hacks and could not enjoy my game without them!! I've used your instructions on how to change the flags with SimPE and have had some success at hiding a few other Maxis hair and clothes, but sometimes my changes don't take. Would love to know why. Or how to make my own package like this.

Thank you Jordi for this/these mods! Since I have all Expansion and Stuff packs installed and don't use MAXIS clothing and hair in general these mods are a blessing!

Any chance u update so the Kimonos, 'Thai' clothing, bun hairdo......... Yep, yep, I would like to hide all MAXIS clothing and hair, lol :D

Added an alternative that also hides the Thai clothes and hair.

Thanks for all of these great hide hacks. Do you have one that hides all of the Holiday Items (Christmas trees, etc. - anything you wouldn't use other times of the year) as well, or know where one is? I really would like to have them invisible in my catalogs when it isn't Christmas, so it is easier to page through.

These kind of stuff is great. What I really want is a hack or something that hides all the stupid Maxis Sims in Bodyshop, I only want to see the ones I've made or downloaded. Anyone knows where I can find suck a hack, PM me please!
