This mod hides some of the christmas clothing & hats from the catalog. It contains everything from Morague's Christmas Clothing Hider (which hid all the old Holiday Stuff), as well as the following from the 2006 "Happy Holiday" mini-pack:

cubodyelf: The kid "elf" outfits
amhairhatsantaeuropean_santahat: the "European" style christmas hats.

All the other new items are not hidden. This includes the Father Christmas furcoats, all the "thai" clothes and kimonos, the toddler outfits, the new woman hair, and all the items.

If you want to hide EVERYTHING, get HideAllXmas instead.

Just place the file into your Downloads or SavedSims folder. If for whatever reason you want them back, just remove the package.
If you still use Morague's mod, you can replace it with this one (I have given it the same filename).

You will still be able to use all these clothes and hairstyles in debugging mode of CAS, but not normally or when buying clothes. Additionally, townies will not be able to use these items.

Please let me know if you encounter any problems with this. I think I caught all of the hats & clothing, but if you notice any of them, please let me know.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Could you please explain to me what is the advantages of this hack? I just bought my first Happy Holidays Stuff pack and can't think of a benefit to hide it. I haven't installed it as of yet as I just received it in the mail today. Please don't think I am putting your hack down because I am not. I just want to know if there something wrong with this pack I should know about it before installing.

Thank you,

All that hiding them does is make it so that you don't have to scroll through them if you don't use them and prevents townies from dressing in them.

Thank you very much for responding I was waiting to hear from someone before installing. Think I will install the pack tonight and see first if this is something that presents a problem to me, before adding the hack.
Since, I had never seeing the pack before that is.

Thank you,

Why would you want to hide it all? Then there's no freaking point of the whole pack. It's just like Holiday Edition without the costumes

I could see the advantage of hiding all that stuff after the holidays are over. I have the old 2005 Edition pack + the new HHS Minipack (oh yeah, 20 items = 100MB?) from the EA Link. I'll give this a try w/ those.

Makai: as valasia said. And, more importantly for me, it prevents new townies or dormies from using these clothes.
I don't want townies walking around dressed as Santa...

I normally make my own townies, run in debugging mode and use the Shift-N cheat in CAS, so this is a very welcome hack for me. :D

Jordi - THANK YOU so much -- I've used all your hiding hacks and could not enjoy my game without them!! I've used your instructions on how to change the flags with SimPE and have had some success at hiding a few other Maxis hair and clothes, but sometimes my changes don't take. Would love to know why. Or how to make my own package like this.

thank you again for being a lifesaver for my game!!

Thanks for all of these great hide hacks. Do you have one that hides all of the Holiday Items (Christmas trees, etc. - anything you wouldn't use other times of the year) as well, or know where one is? I really would like to have them invisible in my catalogs when it isn't Christmas, so it is easier to page through.
Thanks again for these hacks!

Thanks for this! I'm so glad I don't have to keep looking at Christmas stuff when I only use it a few weeks every year.

Haven't tried this mod, haven't even downloaded it. But I'm happy that it exists.
