I started playing this house yesterday and so far it's been my very favorite starter home. It's the right blend of real design and sim functionality. (Though I did straighten that one part of the bathroom to tip things towards the scale of "sim functionality.")

To begin with, the facade is beautiful, shaped well and decorated with the plants just enough that it feels like a home right from the start and not a fixer upper my sims have been consigned to live in until they get a better job. The rooms are generously sized but not too big, making furniture placement easy and natural. The closeted areas off the living room are perfect for pet stuffs, a small office, or decorative objects like a washing machine. And finally the price was perfect; I could afford to furnish the house with the basics and most of the kitchen, a rarity among the starter homes I've tried that flirt with pushing the 20k limit.

And I haven't gotten there yet, but by the simple layout I think it's going to upgrade well when I can afford more room and stories. Thank you a lot for this great home!
