They showed 'Assault on Precinct 13' (the original 1976 version, set in Anderson L.A.) on TV the other day and it reminded me how much my sims needed an abandoned police station from the middle of the worst side of town. For anyone who hasn't seen the film, Precinct 13 was shut down by the LAPD leaving just a few people inside, unaware they were about to be put under siege by disgruntled local gang members. It's a sort of cop meets girl meets convict meets horde of homicidal maniacs type movie - the kind of thing that happens over there every day, I expect.

It's a 3x2 lot costing about 43k, unused and only slightly furnished. I should mention the cell doors are just decorative items and don't actually open. If you want to use the cells as rooms you'll need to remove them to allow sims access. Of course, if you have a particularly annoying sim you want to lock away and are the sort of person who is able to ignore their pitiful cries for release, this won't be an issue.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

This is pretty neat. Would fit great with Cyclonesue's urban decay theme (at TSR). I'm rebuilding my neighbourhood and was intending to have a rundown area, featuring Cyclonesue's stuff and a small trailer part. Your building would fit right in.

While the lot looks good, im just gonna let u know that the movie took place in detroit; remember when Ronick says "two words: the lions, they give me a lot of anxiety" - meaning the detroit lions. They were also in the middle of a blizzard, no snow in LA partner. But great lot, thanks

Well, we're both sort of right strongbad536. You're talking about the 2005 remake which was indeed set in Detroit while I'm referring to the original 1976 movie set in Anderson, L.A. I didn't even know there was a remake till you pointed it out!

I've used it for an asylum challenge, and it was great. I just downloaded it again to make sure my game will never be without a copy again. There's so much detail and interest, and on a lot sized to work for virtually anyone's game. I still love it to bits.
