Nobody, including yourself, ever seems to capture REAL red. I have a friend who's a natural redhead, and his hair is much more vivid than any of those. It's like bright red with a bunch of orange and gold tints shining. I'm sorry if I come across as mean, but this project looks more like People Who Have Reddish Hair And Try To Pass Themselves Off As Redheads.

There are many, many shades of red and I have only scratched the surface here. Why don't you take some photos of your friend in different lighting conditions and post them for us at the Natrual Redhead Project forum? That will give me something to aim for and would be truly helpful. I am guessing his hair is similiar to Julie's. Her shade is the shade that has given me the most trouble and sometimes, I won't even attempt it. I don't see anyone with that color hair very often and it would be a big help to have something to refer to.

I was stunned when I had downloaded and saw the "auburn" shade in the create a sim-room. Very beautiful, one of my best hairs. Thanks a lot!

Being a redhead myself, I can appreciate how hard it is to not make hair look like it's been dyed red, thanks loads, I love this project because most other sites have red hair classed as dyed red instead of natural.

I truly appreciate the all you feedback and thanks. A lot of the credit should go to Flora at XM Sims for creating this fabulous mesh and to Kyriaw for such a great alpha modification. It is a joy to work with such a wonderful hair.

These are all beautiful! I love this project, as a natural redhead. It's nice to see hair that REALLY looks like natural red hair, not some bright ridiculous red. It's really tough to make these colors, and I haven't found a hair that seems to match my own shade of red exactly, but you are closer than anyone, and these are all gorgeous (did I say that already??).

And wow, Julie's hair is amazing! I've never seen red like that!
