New Beginnings: The Harvester
The Harvester is the first in a hopeful series of starter homes based around real life floor plans. It is a little country home complete with basement and side yard, and would be great for those older Sims seeking retirement. It is completely unfurnished, and the landscape is sparse, in an attempt to keep it under $20K.
Despite its size, it is a very roomy house, and can hold a sizeable amount of furniture. Even the basement can fit a full pool table, or you can convert it into a family room, or even a guestroom!
Lot Details:
Size: 2x2
Price: $17,491
Tested: Yes
Features:
2 Bedrooms
1 Bathroom
Kitchen
Dining Room
Living Room (with Entrance Foyer)
Basement
This lot features Maxis only items, and was cleaned using Clean Installer. This lot may require the Pets EP because of the room dividers.
Please note that the ceiling tiles do not come with this lot. If you would like to have these ceiling tiles in your game too, please download them from jgwhiteus, here.
Other Homes in the New Beginnings Series:
The Clementine
The Fairstone
The Inglewood

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
