Produce Stall - Basegame Poverty Lot

Update - this lot was originally packaged with BTX's Medieval Produce Cart. I believe this is what has caused the errors. I have uploaded a new version without those 8 files, which now loads in my UC game without issue. (All the other CC seems to function up to AL/M&G). Enjoy!

"The original owners hoped to establish a boutique nursery cafe on this site, but discovered they were too far from the big smoke. These days, a local farmer uses it to sell surplus vegies, but sadly, spends nothing on renovations."

Sims can buy food here from the wagon in the carpark, or from the stall. They can visit the toilet shed, or BBQ some food. A latticed walkway provides shelter along the length of the property (except for the occasional missing rooftile).

I only have the base game, so no EPs required. This lot was designed for use in the Poverty Challenge. There are no money or energy-enhancing features, and the property is in need of loving care.

There are quite a few custom recolours/items in the lot, to enhance the rundown environment. I hope I remember to credit everything!

Shown in the screenshots, but not included, is a distressed wood cafe table and chairs. If you want them, the free mesh for these can be downloaded from http://www.simwardrobe.com. I have replaced them with Maxis items for the upload.

Hope you enjoy this lot, and maybe you can find time to give it a lick of paint!

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Hi everyone! I've added a new file with the lot AND CC. Sorry, I thought it was included before.

Do not use this lot with Seasons EP, I can't work out what's wrong.

It still works fine with the lower EPs.

Has this been 'fixed' now - can I use it with all EPs including AL or not yet? Just wondering, love the trashy sets that's all.
Thanks!

Sorry, Ravynlee, I never could figure it out. I haven't been worried enough to rebuild it from scratch either.

I doubt it will work with AL.

I know it's been a REALLY long time coming, but I think I have figured out what was wrong with this lot.

Now that I have Ultimate Collection, the lot still works - either with no CC, or with the BTX Produce Cart files removed. Yay! Of course, there are holes in the roofing, so it is still not weatherproof. But it IS meant for poverty sims, after all!

The 'cart' can be seen in the front left of the lot- is six produce display pieces, assembled to look like a medieval cart. Presumably the files need updating to work with EPs.
