This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Hi everyone. Tonight I bring you a crashed plane. It was requested by JC84144 for a movie. Well, not much to say except that it's badly damaged. The fire and leaking gasoline effects you see in the pictures were obtained using the flame thrower from basegame,I think, and the sprinkler fountain that came with seasons. Hope you like it and find some use for it in movies and stories. Enjoy!

Special notice: the footprint is not fixed so sims will walk through it. I recommend using an invisible fence with it.

I also included some debris, that you can scatter around the plane as you like.
Both plane and debris can be found under decoratives/sculptures in the buy catalogue. The plane was cloned from the chimes statue so I think it should be compatible with base game as well.

!!! Updated with base game compatible versions. Tested with Base Game Starter Pro.
Many thanks go to Numenor for his tutorial on creating base game compatible content and Base Game Starter Pro program.

Polygon Counts:
Plane: 4494 vertices / 4505 faces
Debris: 48 vertices / 72 faces

Additional Credits:
Made with Wings3D, UV Mapper, Paint Shop Pro, SimPE.

This is definitely one of the most interesting things Ive ever seen for the Sims. You should do a while series of things like this!

Take a look at a new sims2 chat site ran by Tease. There are mods and we are working to get teh site off of its feet. You can look around and if you feel like joining that would be great for the site. Thanks

Wow. I never thought of a crashed airplane would be interesting for sims 2.

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.
