This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
A peacoat is a pretty basic and sturdy jacket - so here's a more basic version, without the funky scarf and fancy pants. Good old jeans and any sort of shirt you wish instead.

Put the outfits and the mesh file into your downloads or saved sims folder.

These currently require SEASONS. The recolors are set as outerwear only to reduce in-game clutter. Players familiar with SimPE can change the clothing category to everyday if they don't have seasons and want to use them. (instructions here)

If you don't have them already - go get Fanseelamb's recolors - click over there on the left, they are beautiful felted wool peacoats

Polygon Counts:
2448 faces (average)

Additional Credits:
Made with Unimesh, thank you Wes! Supports fit/fat/bumpmaps. Thank you HP, Delphy, and the rest of the staff and members who make mts2 a great place to be.

Recolor as you wish (on free sites) see readme for details.
Based on various Maxis meshes, including the textures, so use them freely in your recolors. Uvmap included.

Free for your personal use. Please don't redistribute without asking permission (that includes posting to the sims exchange).

Thank you Tigger. You're great. I love all your meshes. Can you make a peacoat for the ladies?

cjanefly, it's on the to-do list but I'm involved with a big project that's going to finish in about 3-4 weeks so I'm not sure if I can do it before then.

Somehow I did not comment on these when I first downloaded them almost a year ago.

This has to be my favorite outer wear outfit for my males. They have so few, and this outfit is just lovely (in a manly sort of way, of course.)
