This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.

Updated with new mesh page

I loved this new mesh from Peggy, but I didn’t much care for the textures or colors. After reading some very helpful tutorials, I embarked on my first recoloring project. Yay! I made some slightly more natural colors, and played with the texture so it’s smoother, less shiny around the crown, and not so strange-looking. (In my mind, anyway.)

There are five hair colors for all ages toddler through adult, plus gray for elders. They are binned using Theo's Color Binning Tool. As you switch between colors, the mesh will not drop except for the light brown, which I had to bin separately.

Well, I hope you enjoy these recolors! Look out for more of these from me… Since I discovered how easy this recoloring business is, I might just be doing it more often!

The model is my own Tessa Mancini. Everything on her is the same except eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick is by Bruno. The eye mask is by Peggy.

Thanks to:
-Peggy for the awesome mesh
-Faylen’s hair recoloring tutorial
-Theo’s color binning tool

If you like these, don’t just sit there! Hit the Thanks button!

Feel free to use these recolors in your creations at MTS2. Please don’t upload to the Exchange, and don’t ever let me catch this on a paysite! *grr*

And of course… enjoy!

Thank you so much! Your recolors look fantastic. I really like this mesh, but I definitely disliked the shade of red that came along with the mesh from Peggy's site. Now my natural redheads can continue to look like natural redheads instead of someone who got into a bottle of cheap drugstore hair dye.
