This is... the first object I have created for The Sims 2. This is two sets of books, all Naruto-themed. The two seperate sets are not actually one whole book, they are TEN different covers you can buy for your home.
Originally the only book I wanted to make was the 'Come Come Paradise' novel to put in Kakashi's room. The original idea was prompted by a cool 'Standalone Buyable Book' here on ModTheSims2 by Dhinatahyuga. YOU SO DESERVE ALL MY THANKS. You helped me so much!!
Both are 23 Simoleans apiece, found under Hobbies >> Knowledge.
The First Set...
Includes Come Come Paradise Vol. 1, the first english Naruto manga, a white book with a Konoha Leaf, a book with multiple Naruto characters and a blue diary-esque book with Sakura on it.
The Manga covers were hand-scanned in by me.
The Second Set...
Includes Come Come Paradise Vol. 2, the first (and I think only) Naruto novel, a black book with a Konoha leaf, a book with Kakashi on the front and another diary-esque book with... Temari on the cover.
The Come Come Paradise Vol. 2 and the Novel covers were hand-scanned by ME.
IMPORTANT ~~ For some reason, the thumbnails in the game are incorrect and it makes it look like there are two copies of the same book. This is not so. I hand-tested them and they are all there. Secondly, if your Sims put this book away on your shelf, it DISAPPEARS. I can't remedy either, but neither hurt the game.
Editation...
Not a word, not a word... Anyhow, I will allow editing of my creations if I receive the proper credit. You can change the graphics, descriptions, whatever as long as I get credit back. Just link back and tell me, K?
Though... cloning this object probably won't work...
And for the love of Ramen, don't upload this on a paysite please. I'd absolutely die.
Extra Stuff...
This set should work properly for any expansion or base game. My original goal as stated above was to make only ONE book, but the game unlocks all the covers for you when you set it to Buy Mode. So it wound up being alot more art-ish work than I originally planned.
Technically, if you started a Home Business you could put these all for sale. Wouldn't it be cool if someone made an entire manga store for your sims to shop at? I think so!
Also, I tried making magazines out of the Come Come Paradise books... and it totally failed! LoL!
If you are really envious of Kakashi and his books, you can buy real journals with the covers for those of you who don't know. I got mine for like five bucks at a convention.
EDIT: Look what I found!
Zabuza and Haku!
SUPER THANKS TO...
Dhinatahyuga! Her 'Standalone Buyable Book' object prompted me to try and make my own. When I first failed, she kindly answered my questions and I was able to finish the object. You rock, girl!
