This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Title

Eight Maxis Match "Value" Mirrors for Aquadressers

Description

These downloads contain recolours of the base game "Reflective Glass Mirror", also called the "Value" or simply the "Cheap" Mirror, that sells for §100 and has an Environment value of 1. This set matches the Family Fun Stuff Aquadressers that sell for §245, but of course FFS is not required to load these mirrors. I had so enjoyed designing the mirrors for the FFS Dragon Dressers, I couldn't resist doing these as well!

Additional Credits:

You may include these recolours in any uploaded lots, whether for free or pay - although it would be nice if you included a credit in the description and sent me a PM. Apart from using them in lots, I would prefer that you not upload this collection or portions of it elsewhere.

SimPE 6.0, which makes it all possible
Corel WEB.PhotoPaint, for colouring
Microsoft Photo Editor, for attaching the backs to the mirrors and for file conversion
BaseGameStarter Pro, so handy speeding up the development process
Attribute Change 5.30, used to adjust a file's date and timestamp, which puts the recolours together in consecutive order and usually puts the most recent recolour furthest to the left.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Thank you for the encouragement lamamma! I was wondering if I was saturating the market, but then again, different mirrors for different tastes and jobs.

I've noticed an interesting illusion with the second and third mirrors above. The medium blue with dark blue trim looks darker to me than the medium blue with off-white trim. But I know for certain that both mirrors use exactly the same medium blue gradient fill because I pasted the trim into each of them later.

I love your Maxis Match "Value" Mirrors. And they're highly versatile! I used your Kiddy Castle Maxis Match Value set for my Uni students. Modern, and sophisticated and CHEAP! I use it a lot.

Thank you Annelae, that is very encouraging - and interesting to hear how you are using them. I do have some University themed things in mind, both mirrors and artwork. Thanks for the prompting!
