This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Major update 9-20-07 I'm changing this thread to include architectural meshes from all my Starfleet projects. Today, I'm adding the architectural set from the Olympic Class starship I built (It's on the queue, look for it in a day or 2) This includes the upper dome, lower dome, nacelle, and walls that match the extra texture maps. All the meshes work like columns. I did a 'classic' recolor so any ambitious shipbuilders can make a Daedalus class starship.
This set came about when I was trying to build a Constitution Class Refit. You can make a decent facsimilie of certain things ingame, but there are some shapes you just can't make ingame. So I built 4 new meshes, specifically for this ship, in blender. (This upload is a teaser, the ship is still on the moderation queue).
The nacelle, warpcore, and sensor array are cloned off one of the base game columns and can be found under Build Mode/Miscelaeneous. I tried to make the deflector dish work like a window, but it wouldn't cooperate. So I cloned it to a painting. It's in Decorative/Wall Hangings.
It took me a while to get all the meshes and texture maps right.I hope you like.

Polygon Counts:
Nacelle: 18
Warpcore: 276
Sensor Array: 360
Deflector Dish: 200

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Excellent, space has never looked so good!

You're lying to Sam like he's your wife. Which kinda makes me your mistress.

I have a whole mess of architectural and furniture ideas on the drawing board, madman. I'm working on the Mist Hunter (Zuckuss and 4-LOM's ship from Episode V) for Star Wars and some beds for sickbay for Star Trek. I'm going to remodel a few of the ships I uploaded (new nacelles for Intrepid, Galaxy, Sovereign, Nebula; new superstructure for Miranda; new pod superstructures for Nebula; Cockpits for YT-series ships, a whole furniture set for Sovereign, and so on.) I've been doing my homework, checking out Memory Alpha, Ex Astris Scientia, and some other sites for technical drawings. Give me some time and I'll have a whole fleet on my downloads page.

Wow, I really admire all the work you put into your ships and objects. Every single one is amazing. I'm not a Trekkie (yet... I'm planning to become one soon ;-) ), but I'm trying to put together a Star Trek set at the moment and you can't imagine how much you're helping me. With yours and Xanathon's stuff I may be able to do it. Once again, thank you a million times for everything you've done so far... and propably in advance too.

I can't believe I haven't noticed this set before - it's brilliant! Now my starships don't have to look like they're made of Lego anymore. :D

Actually, these were some of my earlier attempts. Some of the meshes came out pretty good, but some of them look a little lego-esque. I think my newer stuff (the Galaxy Class remodel, the Vor'cha class remodel, and Deep Space Nine) came out better.
