Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
It has been ages since i uploaded here, but i will be uploading many things that i made in the last weeks!
I will also upload the best items i made in the past year!

Are you fed up that your sims only wash them selfs in bathtubs or showers and not on the maxis sinks?
Then this hack will make up for it!
Your sims will sponge bath them selfs with this hack!
Not only will they do this autonomous but you can also select it yourself anytime you want on all the maxis sinks.
They will wash them selfs in about the same speed as the showers do!
And on top of that they will not stop halfway but will clean them selfs fully before they quit.

This is a global hack and will override the maxis sinks!
Still the sinks can be used for all other means like before.
Visitors will not be able to wash them selfs on this sink.

I tested this hack for many hours and i'm proud to say that it's stable and working on all the lots for it's purpose as it should be.
Also i tested it for compatibility with other hacks that i have, and found no conflicts.
Of course, i don't posses every hack ever made, so if you have a problem with it, please let me know with what hack and what exactly the problem is, and i will be very happy to fix it!

Installation and what version needed:
Just extract the rar-file and put it's content in your downloads folder.

Uninstall:
Remove the "Spongebath Global Hack.package" file from your downloads folder!

Works for all game versions
Rebecah, just tested this hack in a base game setting, and it appears to also work with the base game version!
A huge thank you for testing and helping me improving this hack Rebecah!

Features in short:
- Sponge bath menu now available on all maxis sinks
- Sim washes slightly faster as showering
- Sim washes until hygiene mood bar is completely full

All comments welcome!

Have fun!

This will be good for Sims starting out that can't afford a shower or a tub, or who can't fit one in Thanks!

Great hack. Will this conflict with anything?

It only adds the option to sponge bath, i used the constants from existing BCONS.
This means it will not overwrite any existing constants, but only the 2 sponge bath bhav's.
As far as i tested it with all the hacks i have, it worked like a charm, but if you have anything else that uses the sponge bath option, in worse case it will make it clean your sim a little faster and he will clean himself until hygiene mood is full, or when you cancel the action yourself of course.

I also will upload tomorrow a new sink (new mesh) with this option and that is a local object hack.
That will not conflict with anything!

Haha, okay so this is safe as far as the hack goes.
Would you recommend the sink or the global hack {this one} for BV?
Or do both work?

Both work, so that's up to you what you choose for!
They also work together, i have them both in my game and i also have BV.

Too be honest I haven't actually tried this out yet but felt I had to thank you for putting something in the game that is one of those everyday things that we all do..I mean if your shower got knackered in real life you'd have a strip-wash wouldn't you..rather than spend hours stinking like a rotting fish...?

Cheers for this ...will try it out after I finished downloading off this great site....maybe in about ten hours or so...lol...great stuff !!

Has anybody tested this with the apartment life sinks? I know they all now have the option to wash face and brush teeth, so I wondered if there were any conflicts?

Cyjon has a mod like this but it is not working in my game so I am taking it out and trying this one. Cyjon's lets you wash anywhere but hygiene is not going up for my sims. I hope this will do better for me.

Perfect for Sims you want to be like castaways on an uncharted island somewhere. Spectacular work, thanks!
