Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Main Street Market is an older community lot of mine that I have updated to be "Season friendly." I had to gut three of the buildings and place "dummy" walls under the roof with a floor tile. What this means to you, the downloader, is that "weather" will not enter in the buildings where I used "boolprop" for the rooves. I don't usually return to a project once I am finished with it as I am pretty much tired of it at that point, but I happen to like this community lot, a lot and it goes well with my Victorian Houses. Though I made this lot "Season Friendly," the Season EP is not required to use this lot.

Activities Include:
Shopping: groceries, clothes, toys, magazines, electronics
One restaurant and one coffee bar
Card Playing table and small bar with back entrance

As always, I hope you and your Sims enjoy!
Happy Simming,
Christine

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Wonderful creation Christine, I'm enjoying any little detail of the pics. I'd really wish to go there for a nice walk, having good time shopping and drinking a good coffee while it snows. Thank you veeery much, it's about three whole months that I don't play but this lot makes me feel I'm again ready for the game. :D

Oh this is very pretty =] I love all your creations, I think that's what has gotten me into liking the Victorian style as much as I do. Your lots are always so comfortable and nicely layed out, too bad there wasn't any real places like these! Amazing job!

What a gorgeous shopping street! It will go wonderfully in the neighborhood I have of your brilliant lots. Also, although I now finally have all the expansions, for the longest time I didn't have NL, so it is especially nice that you do so many outstanding lots which require no expansion at all. Thank you for that, and thank you for all your hard work in bringing us this perfect street of shops.

This is so fab!! Main Street Downtown style is so perfect for neighbourhoods, if you're clever enough to manipulate terrains and streets well then you can really create that downtown American Vibe.
I loveee this lot, I make quite a lot similar to it myself I'm always intrigued by more inspiration. And of course the new lot adjuster makes the whole thing 100 times better.

Well done :D
