12-27-07 We added some recolors to the original architectural meshes for this lot. 7 recolors each of the Bridge, Hull Deco, and Port and Starboard nacelles. StephSim created the amazing texture maps (please thank her seperately on her link) and I did the SimPE stuff.
2-9-08 added deckplans
This has been one of my favorite ships since TNG. I've always wondered if it was possible to do. I saw a lot on the exchange a few months ago, but it was ghastly. I'm hoping this one is better.
The D'deridex Type warbird is a dual-hulled ship of Romulan design. It is approximately 3 times the size of a Galaxy Class starship. Mostly due to the unique singularity-generator warp core technology, it moves at speeds comparable to the Galaxy Class.
This project has been a team effort from the start. I owe a lot of credit to Steph, the wall and floor sets she made for this project are remarkable. She also drew 3 of the texture maps for the bridge module (it's recolorable!) The map that looks like it was drawn by a six-year-old is mine. The deckplan is a testament to her HomeCrafting skills. Please go to her link and thank her separately for her work.
The deckplan looks like this:
Deck 1: Battle bridge, transporter room, security, auxilary engineering, hydroponics, sick bay, cloaking device room, auxilary mess and crew lounge, computer core, gym, non-essential systems, and crew quarters
Deck 2: Non-essential systems, crew quarters
Deck 3: Non-essential systems, crew quarters
Deck 4: Main bridge, ready room, wardroom, mess and crew lounge, main engineering, astrometrics, science, holodeck, crew quarters, non-essential systems

Lot Size: 5x6
Lot Price: 127,000

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

All I can say is WOW! You (and Steph) have outdone yourself this time! (And before you ask, yes, I am working on Romulans as well. The meshes are basically done, but I need to work up some courage before I get started on the textures - they're as devious as the Romulans themselves...)

Take your time, sister. Your projects are well worth waiting for. I'm sure they'll be spectacular when they're done. If anyone can capture the essence of those green-blooded todSaq, it's you.
Thank you all for the feedback. Stay tuned for the tricorder project. My next lot will be a Sovereign Class remodel.

I like Romulans ever since I creaded my Starfleet captain/Tal Shiar spy character. :-)

Just an idea/suggestion: would it be possible to include shots of the furnished ship that we could use as a guide what should go where? I, personally, am not so well-educated in Star Trek starships and it would help me a great deal if you just made a pic of the straight-down-view (or how do you call it? :-) ) of the furnished ship.

Thank you. I really love all your ships and the furniture made for them, but I never know where exactly to put it.
But please, never stop. I started creating Star Trek sims and they all send their thanks too, for making their world better and richer with every object you create :-)
