FAIR TIME!

The social highlight in Rural America -- The County Fair. Come ride the rides, courtesy of Echo Entertainment (http://hideki.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=213108), see the animals, grab some Bar-BQ over at The Kitchen, and then dance the 'til you wear out your boots.

There are lots of fun things for your sims to do -- you can really ride the bumper cars and carousel! Take a silly picture, throw darts (the dart board is sort of hidden behind the thing that looks like a double dart board. Your sims can get back to it -- even though it doesn't really look like it.) There is a place for your pets to get a little rest and relaxation. Get a bite to eat in the casual, but full service restaurant. Look at the animals and baked products, and then go upstairs to dance the night away.

I'm sure your sims will have a great time.

Everything you need is included in the download file. Install the lot file in the normal way.

There is a folder of a few misc files that did not attach to the lot, but are needed for everything to work right on Echo's carnival pieces and Dragon Slaves horses. They are ready to go, just put the 'CountyFairExtra' folder in your download folder.

Have Fun!

Note: The wall 'art' stuff are some of my recolors of Pixelhate's poster series. They are not custom walls. Pixelhate is so talented and this mesh is so versatile!

A sincere thanks to all the generous many creators who allowed me to share their wonderful things with you in this lot.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

This is wonderful! I was just lazing about in bed thinking, "Wouldn't it be nice to have a petting zoo or a fair to bring my Sim children to?" And then I saw your upload!

Hope all the simmies enjoy the fair. You may want to add a few of Rebecah's animals for even more interactions.

thank you all. Its charm & sucess is a testament to the fabulous creators who went before me -- its really their things that made it special. And of course, I probably woundn't have/couldn't have done it without all the help and encouragement of fellow builders and my simming friends.
