This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
I have always hated that in order to have a certain look on the outside of a house the indoor decor had to coordinate with the window color. For example, if you wanted a house with white siding and blue windows, every room in the house had to be decorated to work with that window color. I made some window trim sized to match four of the Maxis windows. Now you can have an outside decor that is independant from the inside. For example, you could have white siding, white windows, and blue window trim so that the inside need only match the white windows.

Breeze Easy Window:
This is the basic double hung window from the Base game.

Function of Plate Window:
This is the plain tall windows from the Base game.

Showcase Window:
This is the display window from the Base game.

Privacy Window:
This is the little privacy window from the Base game.

The Breeze Easy Window Trim is the Master Mesh! You must have this object installed for the others to function! This is also the object you must recolor in order to recolor any of the others.

These objects were made with the following programs: SimPE Wings 3D
UV Mapper
Photoshop

The Diagonal Meshes are linked to the Straight Meshes, meaning that the trim will automatically turn when placed on a diagonal wall. They are compatible with all games.
They can be found under Function Sort > Decorative > Miscellaneous, and Room Sort > Outdoor > Decorative.

Polygon Counts:
Breeze Easy Window Trim - Straight Mesh: Faces: 64, Vertices: 80;
Breeze Easy Window Trim - Diagonal Mesh: Faces: 64, Vertices: 64;
Function of Plate Window Trim - Straight Mesh: Faces: 64, Vertices: 80;

Privacy Window Trim - Straight Mesh: Faces: 64, Vertices: 80;

Excellent idea. I've always hated making the compromise between inside looks and outside looks.

Retired from the Sims world. Please continue to enjoy my creations. Thank you to everyone who helped -- by either giving me the tools and knowledge to create or by encouraging me & downloading my creations. The Sims community is the BEST!

Now this makes sense to have the windows look this way.
Thank for creating and sharing you did a fantastic job on these.

This is a great idea! Thanks so much for these, they will be very useful!
I would love to have these for the Maxis/MaryLou Independent Expressions set (if you wish to spend the time, there's a lot of windows there).

my personal life can be supported by veiwing this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-n2z-Q6x6eU and others on my youtube page. I believe there's a few building tutorials there aswell. I create rather sporadically, so excuse me if I'm gone from this website for months or years at a time.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

amythestfenix, I considered making trim for the Maxis/MaryLou Independent Expressions window set in the beginning but there are windows in that set that are to long to allow for trim. If you have two floors with the windows on top of each other they touch ends which leaves no room for trim and it would overlap. I thought about doing trim for just the ones in the set that are sized right but then it seems incomplete to me.

I do have some that I made for tigdadx4's Double Wide, Triple Wide, and Bathroom Sized double hung windows that I was thinking of uploading depending on how this upload was received. They are slaved to the Breeze Easy Trim also, so someone would need to have this set (at least the Easy Breeze Trim) to use that one. I wasn't sure how people would feel about that.

Don't want to appear stupid, but sometimes it can't be helped! Do I have to recolor these windows myself? Perhaps I am mis-reading the description. I do not know anything about recoloring objects.

Recolors are included in the Easy Breeze Window Trim rar. They are reclors of the Master file (BEwindowtrim_straight) which will effect all of the trim. For those who do wish to make recolors that is the file that should be recolored.

I hope this helps. If not feel free to ask for more clarification, I will never think that you're stupid.
