Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.

There are so many gorgeous eyesets out there, but I still sometimes can't find exactly what I need for a sim I'm making, which is kinda how this set came to being. Figures, I always thought I wanted to make a toned-down, natural eyeset and yet ended up making really vibrant colors for my first set.

These are almost entirely hand-painted with a stock photo for reference. And the set and pairs are named after Ani DiFranco songs, because I was listening to her while making these and when you can't come up with names, resort to song titles is what I always say.

In the big preview, the ones on the left are considered regular colors and the ones on the right are fantasy-ish. They are included in separate rar-files.

Stuff used in previews:

Hair - Myos, Sizz (one my own alpha edit/recol), Nouk
Skins - HystericalParoxysm, kamikitten
Makeup - Anva, bruno and (must add this) Lunar Eclipse for the mouth corners, which have somehow found their way on most of my sims.

The sclera is by icedmango, thank you for allowing to use it! And a linky so as to correct my oversight. :3

With proper credit, you can recolor these or make defaults or whatever, just remember if you use the same sclera, credit icedmango for it. Thanks.

(For the people still waiting for those tennis jerseys, they will be posted eventually, I promise! :/ I've been working on Sims 2 stuff very sporadically for the past months...)

Very nice.

Dr. Wilson: Did you know your phone is dead? Do you ever recharge the batteries?
Dr. Gregory House: They recharge? I just keep buying new phones.

these are gorgeous!!! how do you hand-draw the colors on the eyes? i use the same sclera base you do most of the time but i can't get my eyes to look as nice as these.

I have done plenty of stupid things in the past. I have the scars -physical and emotional- to prove it. Do I have regrets? No. If anything, I'm proud to have these scars, as trophies of life experience I've gained, and to say, 'Hey, I survived. You can too.'

Oh. My. Goodness.

I thought I was done downloading eyes. Apparently, I wasn't. These are absolutely breathtaking, as far as I'm concerned. Thank you so much for sharing, I really appreciate it!

Thank you, your comments really made my day!

As for defaults, I don't really know how to do that, yet. But anyone who does please feel free to make these into defaults and post them! (I knew I forgot something from the description, uh.)

pepperdawg - He's my favorite sim at the moment, and actually based on an anime character (I don't like making overly cartoony sims). Also the one I made the original green pair of these eyes for. He's a little devil, I'll see about posting him...

Kirihara, by any chance?

Also, are you planning to share the hair? I've been looking for a good hair for Kirihara with little success. I tried to make some myself and failed miserably.

ashwater - That'd be Kirihara, yep. The mesh for the hair is Sizz's, but if/when I upload him it'll include my recolor. I'll see about touching it up a bit, I'm not totally satisfied yet...
