The Drowned Lady Old House by lamammaforever

After many decades of neglect, finally, this house has been renovated for awaking to a new life, again, while leaving intact the atmosphere a bit melanchonic that for a long time has marked it. In fact, the semi-drowned statue originated many legends, none verified, about a young lady and an unhappy love.
The name of Drowned Lady remained and still is its characteristic.
The house is now a lovely place for living in relax, right for a single sim or a couple, strongly suggested to artists, for writing novels, painting or whatever.

1st floor: kitchen, spacious living with office corner, bath.
2nd floor: 1 large bedroom and bath, a corridor leads to the artist corner.
The room on the roof is not connected with stairs, it's another mysterious place of this lot and it can be reached only through teleporting (meditation or ninja-like).
Alarms in discrete points.

Cleaned, checked and tested in game (a clone lot)

Remix at my livespace

IMPORTANT note for Mehrlicht (and for all of you who love the pixelated damned little people hehe): no sims were sacrified for testing this lot.

Please, do not upload anywhere (NO absolutely no Exchange NO paysites) and do not claim at yours. As far as my recolors they are and must remain free. Obviously you can use them as much as you want, I'll be very glad. Give credit, don't claim at yours, these are basic golden rules good for all the community.

NOTE about the building cheats
I used *moveobject* while landscaping so I suggest a good mod for having a perfect garden, like this one by twojeff, inspired by Inge Jones,13.0.html
In this way your gardner, if you still will have one, wont get mad when can’t access to a shrub or flowers.

NOTE about the object recolors
included in both zip and rar packs you’ll find
- dark orange recolor for the contempo chair, satinistic loveseat and tiki loveseat (which works also for the tiki chair and tiki recliner) by me (and the whole set of 8 colors can be found at SIMART
and here at MTS2
These recolors are not really needed if you don’t like them or already have something similar, but I suggest to take them for keeping the same result.
However please remember to put them in your download folder before installing the house.

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Wow, you really managed to catch the charm of the old times! It looks very comforting but also a little bit morbid(I hope you don't take this as critical, it's just perfect for that lot, especially with its name ).

Thank you all folks, I'm so glad you like it.
Actually (as Lara already knows ...) I started this lot for relaxing, my mind were totally dedicated to the sci-fi lots in the building phase, some are finished others are just in the limbo, trying to revealing themselves ... so I needed a break.
Believe me or not, but this lot showned its soul very soon ...
Jon, thank you, I don't feel bad for your words, you got exactly the point
