This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.

This custom content if it is not clothing, may require a seperate download to work properly. This is available at Colour Enable Package (CEP) by Numenor.

Hello,

I'm sorry if this took long but I was having the hardest time trying to match the wood recolors of particular objects. But here it is, as close as I can get it, without completely scraping the original designs on the wood.

There are 7 sets of recolors, 3 types of wood along with 23 of my fabric textures from the lap of luxury sofa.

Item recolored are:
Bon Appetite Dining Chair
Chimeway Daughters Saloon Piano
Renaissance Bookcase
Cozy Colonial Coffee Table
Queen Anne Coffee Table
Curvaceous Colonial End Table
Grand Parlour Chess Table

No EPs required.

You can find my Lap of Luxury recolors here and here

I hope this doesn't disappoint.

Additional Credits:
MsBarrows - Lap of Luxury loveseat and armchair
Nengi65 - rug; Cameronsnan for the recolors
Parsimonious - windows

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Very cool idea - its so frustrating that EAxis couldn't make their furniture match better to begin with, and its great when people make stuff match up a bit better.

Disappoint? What nonsense! It's a lovely set. I really want sets like this because they make Maxis items so much more usable. I don't like pieces that match nothing at all and you've been fixing that. Thank you.

Wonderful, No disappoint - Very proud!! Recently had to start over, overcome my mesh addiction and attempt to having maxis recolors only downloads for furniture. They save loading times and this beautiful recolors makes so much usable now. Not being able to recolor things on mac I thank you for the hard work and sharing! ( The goth's living room will be so nice now )

I just got AL and a few new stuff packs and I'm starting from scratch (yet again). I needed to clear out my downloads folder, 'cause I was just sick of how long it took for my game to load. I do have a few build items and some essential walls & floors, but the bulk of my custom content folder has been reduced significantly. I still miss some things but it's so rewarding when load time is only a minute. So recolors and default replacements are the new THING!

AyameS, I've recently significantly reduced my DL folder and resolve to stick to Maxi recolors as much as possible. Yours are really beautiful and suit my taste perfectly. Kind of elegant and antiquey yet colorful and eyecatching! Thanks for your hard work!!

I love this set! Thanks a lot! I've been so sick of Maxis red Chimeway Daughters Saloon Piano. It never fits in any room because of its boring color. And yet you need it for your simchildren to learn creativity skills. I love you for this set. Now I can make a matching livingroom with plenty of coloroptions! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

TY! I have been DYING for something like this, this has been my biggest gripe with Eaxis from the start; why couldn't they make their stuff match better? I love your colors and fabrics & everything! Now I can reduce my dl folder... I'm horrible on cc! (Compleatly addicted to custom stuffs) But I like it when things match. Now if only there were some decent curtins to match the furniture..... HINT HINT!:-D
